I am an actress and I first heard of this play from a monologue book. I read the play online and it soon became my absolute favorite play ever! This play is my go to play for amazing dramatic monologues for a woman in her twenties. I recommend this play to anyone who loves a classical play. This play made George Bernard Shaw my favorite playwright. His roles that he writes for women are so brilliant and they work extremely well for me. Its a dramatic comedy that has a its dramatic parts but some parts are funny. I would also recommend this for a one-act play or a regular production. It is brilliant!
