Rugged Craig Haynes came from a long line of lady–killers. Lately, though, the single dad was targeting only Jill Bradford, his sons' new nanny. Two parts sweetness, one part sin, the pint–size redhead proved a wizard with his three rambunctious boys. So what made this miracle–worker insist she was strictly hired help? Could a houseful of Haynes males ambush her wary heart…and maker her a mother and wife?

Craig needed a nanny for his three boys and in comes Jill. Craig is a police officer working on a case so he needs someone to look after his children when he is not around. Jill needed a job and this was what she got but she only expected to stay for only so many weeks. She did not plan on staying there forever or getting to attached to his children. But she did as well as the boys. Craig's ex-wife had passed away and Craig and the children have never really come to terms with her passing. Soon Jill warms her way into this family and finds out that the youngest child is not really Craig's but someone his wife had fooled around with. This was so heart-warming I fell in love with all the characters. Those three boys have been through a lot and then Jill walks into there life and it is transformed. This is one of my favorites from Susan Mallery just love it.

Originally published in 1995 this is a typical Susan Mallery Book, in other words, great reading... Jill has been through a really tough divorce and is uncertain what she wants her future to be... Craig has also been through a tough divorce and his three sons mother was also recently killed... Jill takes a temporary job as nanny to the three boys because Craig is a police officer involved in a special assignment... Their road is winding but their destination is inevitable... Great reading and while not lengthy (175 pages) it is well worth the time and will bring plenty of smiles and maybe a tear or two... Wish it had been a bit longer and/or came with an Epilogue... Since it is a reprint of an earlier time it is not likely there will be a follow up but their certainly could be... Read and enjoy!!

I really enjoyed this book, and I am wondering if there are other books about Craig's brothers!! It was a heartwarming book, and I could really relate to Jill, how she was afraid to get attached to the boys, but couldn't help herself! A great read, as are all of Susan Mallery's books!!

I have read all of Susan Mallery's books. They are great. They have great story lines. She has several series out with Part Time Wife included in her series called Hometown Heartbreakers.. The whole series is great. Once I start reading any of her books I cannot put it down. Enjoy this book and so many more.

This is my first Susan Mallery book. I enjoyed the story, wish it had an epilogue though. Liked the characters but, seemed slow to engage in romance. I'll probably read another by this author. I recommend this book. S.A.K.
