This is a Paleo book with real meat to it, and not just fluff. Many, if not most, of the paleo books out there just have the same internet found, copy pasted recipes and advice. I'm glad to say to that this one isn't one of them. Donna first goes through what the Paleo diet is, how it's beneficial, and why I (the reader), should give it a shot to drastically lose weight and get healthier. I loved her meal plans and recipes. She's an actual chef, so I could instantly recognize (and taste!) the difference in her recipes than in other books I've tried. They're more creative and delicious, plus they are easy to make. One little thing I wished she had added were photos for the recipes, since it would have helped to know how each dish looked, but other than that, this is my new favorite paleo guide.
