Jacob Andrus draws, dreams, but absolutely doesn't talk about a house not far from where he lives. For most, the house and surrounding area are not even thought of, if possible, it's completely avoided. However, for Jacob and two others, Candace, a far too familiar girl from school, and Gavin, who looks to be the odd man out, a freshman who silently rides Jacob's bus, Shadow House is pulling them in.
