Open the Barn door is a great book for sharing with little readers to get them interested in reading. The small size, great graphics and simple content are just perfect as far as I am concerned. The interactive flaps to open on each page give little readers a chance to participate even though they can't read yet.

My daughter is 10 months old and loves this book. She loves opening the doors and loves listening to the animal sounds. She gets the book herself and will turn the pages and open the flaps even if I'm not reading it with her. I also love the illustrations. So classic!

Grandson loves reading this book himself....making the noises and pretending. He is two years old and perfect for him....puts in his bike bag.

I got this for my son's first birthday, and he loves it! He takes this book with him when we go places and can't put it down! He had no problems lifting the flaps or turning the pages. It really is his favorite book! :)

Keeps kids engaged. Very colorful and appealing to kids just learning to read books.

My son's daycare has this book and he can't bear to leave it at the end of the day. He has actually taken to sleeping with it at naptime from what they tell me. Very cute, nice and colorful. Needless to say we're getting a copy for home.

My daughter simply adores this title. We needed to replace the original due to extreme use.

My son loved this book so much we need to order another for my daughter. It simply has fallen apart from being used so much. wonderful book!

No plot, no story-lines, 3 words per page. This is the children's book equivalent of a Seinfeld episode. This book is appropriate for the 2-3 year old crowd, but is too elementary for anyone above this age. It is well illustrated and many of the flaps were hard for me to find because they blend right into the page. Would have enjoyed more if there was a plot but it is a fun read nevertheless.

I bought this book for my grandson and have been "reading" it to his baby sister. She is 9 months old and Loves the book like he did, but tries to eat it. He's pretty worried about her handling it so I'm buying one just for her. They both loved this book.
