"Once upon a, no, that's not the way to start. You'll think this is a fairy tale. And it isn't".

In the terrible years of tyrants and invaders, England's surviving pagans cry out for help to their deity — and Mab, Queen of the Faery realms, creates for them a champion.

Merlin. Half human, half Magic; raised in the love of his foster mother, Ambrosia, trained in sorcery by the gnome Frick, destined by Mab to lead England back to the Old Ways. But Mab, once beloved, has grown selfish and cruel, so Merlin turns against her.

And their war of magic will change the world.

I thought this book was one of the best merlin stories i had read. It's so easy to follow and doesn't make you stop, wrinkle your brow in wonder, and then read that line over or go back pages to find out who that was. I rate it high because of its plot, its epic, and because of its profounding sense of wonder and magic.

Sounds really cool so far! Way of the dragon, way of the snake.... it reminds me of the warrior cat tribes, the way you could be a cave-guard of a prey-hunter. It also has an academy-type feel. Very interesting.
You seem to be fine with spacing, grammar, ect. There were a few spelling errors, but I never proofread my posts, so I won't bash you for that.
All in all, I look forward to the next chapter! Until then.
Sweet dreams are made of this,
~\Splittah|Jay/
