In James Patterson's sensational mystery, NYPD Red discovers a chilling conspiracy that terrifies the city's most powerful.

NYPD Red is the elite, highly trained task force assigned to protect the rich, the famous, and the connected. And Detective Zach Jordan and his partner Kylie MacDonald-the woman who broke his heart at the police academy-are the best of the best, brilliant and tireless investigators who will stop at nothing to deliver justice.

Zach and Kylie's New Year's celebrations are cut short when they're called to the home of billionaire businessman Hunter Alden, Jr. after he makes a grisly discovery in his townhouse garage. When Alden's teenage son goes missing soon afterwards, and his father seems oddly reluctant to find him, Zach and Kylie find themselves in the middle of a chilling conspiracy that threatens everyone in its wake-especially their city's most powerful citizens.

NYPD Red 3 is the next sensational novel in James Patterson's explosive new series, a thriller that goes behind the closed doors of New York high society and into the depths of depravity.

NYPD Red 3 is another quick and fast-paced read about the elite group of officers serving the rich and powerful. Who, by the way, get into as much and worse trouble than regular folk like us. Highly recommend.

I usually don't like mystery books but i saw this book and picked it up-immediately was stuck, reading this book for two hours straight. It really grabs you, from beginning to end. The plot is very original and vivid. He uses details that may be gory, but definitely help the reader to better understand the picture Patterson is trying to paint. There is never a dull moment in the book, there is always something happening, and without a doubt, it's always interesting. A lot of books i read, there is always a period of time-or pages- where i am just bored of the book, i want to put it down. This was the first in a while where every page was action-packed. It's also not confusing at all and everything ties up beautifully in the end. All of the little clues and hints come all together when you find out who did what. Put together strategically. The detail, once again, is incredible I had to slow down my reading to make it last longer, it goes quick. which is what i like in a book. Would recommend
