Many people fondly remember this book. Nancy loves to play Nurse, but her older brothers are always too busy with their big boy games to play with her. One day, when brother Billy falls and hurts himself, Nurse Nancy is at the ready! This lively, charming book from the 1950s is still fresh today.

I loved this book and am so happy to have the opportunity to buy it! The sweet and caring Nancy truly inspired me to pursue a nursing career as an adult so it is very close to my heart! I would recommend this book to anyone who yearns for a story that teaches caring and compassion in a world that sometimes forgets. I can't wait to share this book with my daughter, Julianna and granddaughter, Emily!

I am a nurse, and my name is Nancy! I cherished this book as a child in the 50's, acting out the storyline. I also believe the gentle spirit of Nurse Nancy contributed to my personality as a nurturing person, and influenced my career choice. Since I became a nurse, I have searched my parent's house to no avail for my original copy. I'm so pleased to see that it's been re-released for new generations to enjoy.

I have been looking for this book for a long time. I am so happy to see it is being re-released again. The original is a collector's item, I have seen the price as high as $300. I read this book over and over as a child, when I grew up I wanted to take care of people. I am not a Nurse, but a very loving and kind person. A great role model, Nurse Nancy was for me.
