Was a very moving story that I couldn't put the book down until completed.

Silver has loved Drew since she was 18. But she has a secret that she never told him. Will he understand or will he hate her? Well written story with strong and believable characters. Couldn't put it down. Can't wait for the next book in this series. joy943

This is the 4th book in the Happily Inc series. Each one just keeps getting better. I didn’t think I’d like this series after following the Fool’s Gold series, but I was wrong. Susan Mallery weaves a wonderful story of close friends, family, town and of course love. This story was about second chances at an everlasting love for Silver and Drew. I was completely drawn into the story with a few tears, laughter and hope. Well done! Looking forward to the next in the series.

Rating: 3.5 but rounded up The fourth installment of Happily Inc, Not Quite Over You, is about Drew and Silver. There is an urgent feel to this book, starting off a lot hotter than the previous books. There is something about the tension between Drew and Silver that gets you invested. There is a high school past between the two, once with a choice and a consequence. Together, they make a decision, and as most tropes, that decision drives them apart. In present day, both Drew and Silver have moved on, creating a life for themselves in varying degrees of success. When circumstances bring together once more, there is a somewhat rekindled tension that then sparks pent up attraction. This story is filled with angst. And while I normally don't do angst, Mallery had me engaged. I had some issues with Silver, but her personality isn't something that I normally would relate to. Overall I enjoyed this story, and am glad for their happy ending.

Not Quite Over You is a heartwarming emotional story of a second chance romance of Drew and Silver. They were high school sweethearts but Silver gave him up when he went off to college only to find out she was carrying his child. Now years later her life is going so well, then Drew steps back into the scene and things are going to get a little tricky. This is an awesome read and I had a lot of fun getting to know the characters and what a great job Ms Mallery did of creating a warm and inviting setting with so many interesting friends. Great Stroy!

Disappointing. I kept wanting to shake the heroine and tell her to woman up and tell the secret. There was waaaay too much detail about the wedding arrangements - it felt like the author was trying to fill pages rather than advance the story.

Happily, Inc Book#4 Silver is owner/bartender of AlcoHaul and Drew is with the local bank. They share a past. Silver has to tell Drew that the daughter they had given up to adoption eleven years ago is coming to Happily, Inc. Their daughter Autumn wants to meet Drew and it starts a chain of event that results in another chance for Silver and Drew. Loved the book and Susan Mallery.

From the books of Ms. Mallery's that I have read so far, I think this is my favorite. I found Silver and Drew to be quite relatable as characters in that they both have issues, they work through them - alone and together - and they find ways to come together. Both have strengths and weaknesses that complement each other and this makes for a great storyline. Their shared past comes up and Drew has issues, but finds a different way of looking at things that works. I would have liked to "see" what his aunt's reaction was to one bit of news, but I guess this might (or might not :) ) appear in another Happily Inc. book. Look forward to see what comes next.

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Another enjoyable novel from Ms Mallery, I really like this series and this a good entry in the series. I don't always like the old lover come back trope, but Ms Mallery makes it work. Her characters come across as real people with problems and hopes and dreams. Overall a good story and a quick read.

Susan Mallery Delivers Again I’ve enjoyed reading Susan Mallery’s newest continuity series, Happily Inc and, I’ve been waiting for Silver’s story since Ms Mallery first introduced her. It was worth the wait. Not Quite Over You is the fourth Happily Inc story and another winner from Susan Mallery. Silver and Drew fell in love the summer before Drew left for college. Silver didn’t want to hold him back, so she let him go. A few months later, she visited him at his college, so she could tell him about the baby they created. Drew, a college freshman, signed some adoption papers and never looked back. Flash forward to the present—where Drew and Silver are both living in happily, inc. Drew, the heir apparent, runs the family bank. When the bank denies Silver a business loan, Drew offers to underwrite it himself as Silver’s business partner. As they work together, the past becomes the present, memories return, and their previous feelings reignite. Ms Mallery may create fictional characters, but she makes them relevant to real people with real problems. Drew is one of my favorite leading men—he’s clueless about so many things, but has a great heart, and wants to learn. When he was a teenager, he signed the adoption papers for his unborn baby and never thought about his child until Silver returned to his life. We see Drew develop from a relatively self-centered teenager to a caring adult who regrets his past decisions. Silver first appeared as a brassy friend running her own mobile wedding bar business, AlcoHaul. Despite her moxie, Silver masks a vulnerability in a secret she keeps hidden from everyone. As she rekindles her romance with Drew, Silver realizes that to have her happily ever after, she needs to let go and tell Drew her secret; even though she knows it might end their relationship for good. Not Quite Over You blends the best elements of Susan Mallery’s writing—recurring characters, a fun, quirky town, enduring friendships, and neighbors who care. Happily Inc is much like Fools Gold—both are in California, both are towns where friendships endure and friends don’t judge, and both represent the type of town I’d love to live in. I’ve enjoyed watching Silver evolve through the first three Happily Inc books and I was so excited to read her story. Ms Mallery does not disappoint—Silver and Drew getting together (again) were worth the wait.

Just loved this second chance romance story. Silver and Drew were teenagers in love and too young to stay together through college and long distance. But they never really got over each other. Brought back together because Silver needed a bank loan and Drew wanted to finance her business venture. They agreed to work together and along the way fell deeper in love. Lots of things happened in the past that they needed to confront but it all made for a great story and some very happy feels.

I liked how young love reconnected years later. The characters visited the past and moved on as adults. There were twists and turns along the way. The main characters in the story tried to do the right thing as the story went along. I liked how they were pursuing their passions and each other at the end of the story. I would recommend this book as a fun read.

Susan Mallery brings us a story of long ago lovers Silver and Drew. Their relationship has many ups and downs with business, family, friends, and even a surprise visitor in the name of Autumn. But with the ups and downs, they learn more about themselves and each other than they ever have and learn that through all of this they could never be apart. Susan also brings us updates on many more people from happily inc. Honestly can't wait for what's next.

Another installment of the Happily, Inc story! 2 within a few months of each other- say it ain't so! The last one with Ronan, and this one involving Silver and Drew-Silver has a lot of grit, but it's Drew's turn to earn his stripes on the bumpy road back to each other. A definite must-read. Susan Mallery's books do not disappoint.

Silver Tesdal owns a portable bar that serves the weddings and many events in Happily Inc. She wants to expand her business and goes to the bank for a loan - where she is turned down. Drew Lovato works for the bank and is in line to take it over but not in time to help Silver now. So he devises a plan that doesn't initially sit well with Silver. The two had a relationship he summer after high school but Silver broke up with Drew before he went to college. Then she found out she was pregnant. Fast forward over a decade and Drew and Silver are living and working in Happily Inc again. Drew manages to become business partners with Silver. She is reluctant at first but then gives in because what he says business-wise makes sense and she wants to expand. The thing is, they had a child together and Silver kept in touch with her and now she has to share that knowledge with Drew. There were elements of this book I really liked - the humor, the friendships, the emotions. I also liked Silver and Drew as people but I didn't feel the spark between them as a couple. They had really good moments together but they were supposedly so 'hot' together in the past but it wasn't in their present story. I like this series and look forward to continuing with it but Silver and Drew's story was so-so for me.

Really enjoyed this book. Silver's character has great depth, but Drew's character left us hanging a bit almost until the end. Great introduction of new characters as well as some info about some others. Overall, great story. Am looking forward to Wynn's story and also would like to know what the story is behind Libby and her hatefulness.

Not Quite Over You is a delightful story of starting a new relationship with an old high school boyfriend. Silver and Drew broke up when he went to college, and both of them moved on with their lives. Years later, when Silver needs some help, Drew steps in with an idea that brings them closer together. They have to deal with his mother, who has her eye on someone else for Drew. Someone who would help him with the career she's always wanted for him. And then there's his nasty aunt Libby, who you might remember from the first book in this series. She's always happy to start some conflict. With Silver's hidden secret, there is definitely a little conflict in store. As Silver and Drew reconnect, they explore whether their different lifestyles can be meshed into one happy existence. Along the way, fans of this series will enjoy the mentions of the girlfriend lunches, the talented Mitchell brothers, and the town's wedding industry. I found this book to be engaging and memorable, and am excited to see who will fall in love next!

Solid Gold for Silver... Silver Tesdal that is! Not Quite Over You is the next installment in the Happily Inc Universe. Silver is looking to expand her unique business, AlcoHaul but is having difficulty finding a loan. Enter big banker heir Drew Lovato to the rescue, helping Silver expand. It just so happens that there is more than a little history between them. As former high school sweethearts we quickly discover that the spark is still there, and maybe a little hotter than before! But, Silver has been keeping a secret from the town for many years that comes to a head and has the ability to throw off what Drew and Silver have been working towards. Add a meddling (ahem controlling) mother, a quirky band of characters, a giraffe and a royal party and you have all the happens that will suck you right into Not Quite Over You. I quite enjoyed this book. In the past Silver was not the character I wanted to know most about but she promptly became one of my favorites of the series (so far). If I had one complaint about this book it would be that the ending wrapped extremely quickly. There was a lot of book devoted to rising action and climax but the falling action seemed a bit rushed. In the grand scheme of the book though it is still top of the Happily Inc. series.

Not Quite Over You is a story of first love that you think you have put behind you and realize you haven’t. I really liked the characters of Silver and Drew. Silver is an independent woman who is nothing like her mother. Drew is an independent man who doesn’t want to follow his parents footsteps. They were young and in love once and have now been thrown back together again 12 years later and slowly realize that they still love each other. Obstacles and secrets get in the way but of course, there is a happy ending in Happily Inc. Throughout this story, Susan’s words aptly described what I would feel in the situations that Silver and Drew found themselves in. She is a great storyteller! I have always enjoyed Susan’s novels and this is great as well. I highly recommend it.

Not quite over you was such a great story. This was an awesome second chance romance. We meet Silver and Drew in this story. They were high school sweethearts that forwent their separate ways after high school. The chemistry we see with these two awesome characters will have you wanting more of their story. Love this authors writing style and how you get sucked into the story. Definitely give this one a 5 star rating.

First love never dies. Silver and Drew were together when they were young, one of the hardest things was to let him go, Drew went off to college and Silver thought it was the right thing at the time. Now jump ahead some years and a business deal that comes up between them they have to deal with feelings that never died. Susan Mallery's Happily Ink gets better and better each story. Her love for writing makes her story's full of humor, love and great friends. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
