The #1 Bestselling series, with over 400 five star reviews on Amazon!

NIGHT OF THE BOLD is book #6--and the final installment--in Morgan Rice's bestselling epic fantasy series KINGS AND SORCERERS (which begins with RISE OF THE DRAGONS, a free download)!

In NIGHT OF THE BOLD, Kyra must find a way to free herself from Marda and return to Escalon with the Staff of Truth. If she does, awaiting her will be the most epic battle of her life, as she will need to face off against Ra's armies, a nation of trolls, and a flock of dragons. If her powers, and the weapon, are strong enough, her mother awaits her, ready to reveal the secrets of her destiny, and of her birth.

Duncan must make an epic stand against Ra's armies once and for all. Yet even as he fights the greatest battles of his life, leading to a final stand in The Devil's Gluch, he cannot expect the dark trickery that Ra has awaiting him.

In the Bay of Death, Merk and King Tarnis' daughter must join forces with Alec and the warriors of the Lost Isles to fight off the dragons. They must find Duncan and unite to save Escalon, yet Vesuvius has resurfaced, and they cannot anticipate the treachery awaiting them.

In the epic finale to Kings and Sorcerers, the most dramatic battles, weapons and sorcery all lead to a breathtaking, unexpected conclusion, filled with both heartbreaking tragedy and inspiring re-birth.

With its strong atmosphere and complex characters, NIGHT OF THE BOLD is a sweeping saga of knights and warriors, of kings and lords, of honor and valor, of magic, destiny, monsters and dragons. It is a story of love and broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is fantasy at its finest, inviting us into a world that will live with us forever, one that will appeal to all ages and genders.

"If you thought that there was no reason left for living after the end of the Sorcerer's Ring series, you were wrong. Morgan Rice has come up with what promises to be another brilliant series, immersing us in a fantasy of trolls and dragons, of valor, honor, courage, magic and faith in your destiny. Morgan has managed again to produce a strong set of characters that make us cheer for them on every page....Recommended for the permanent library of all readers that love a well-written fantasy."

I so enjoyed the characters in this book. That being said, I was also extremely frustrated with the numerous editorial mistakes in the book. I hope the print edition was better than the ebook.

Every character constantly faces certain death only to miraculously find a way to live. Got boring I’m mad at myself for buying all the books.

The story is full of mistakes, names are mixed up and why didn't the troll just retreat back through the tunnel they dug?

I read the Kings and Sorcerers series (all because of a free download) hoping the writing would mature or get better but it didn't. The overall plot line isn't bad but the writing is redundant, immature, and every character is pretty much the same. I ended up skimming chunks because I found the writing boring. No humor at all and the characters take themselves way too seriously. Unfortunately I can't bring myself to read another of her books after this. Far better and more enjoyable writers that I would recommend: Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, Chloe Neill, Faith Hunter, Jenn Stark, Anne Bishop, Keri Arthur, Seanan McGuire, Devon Monk, Deborah Harkness, Kim Harrison, Karen Chance, Carrie Vaughn, Christina Henry, etc. I'm leaving people out because the list is too long but here are some of my favorites for anyone interested in fantasy/urban fiction/fiction.

A good story. I enjoyed it.

Six mediocre books that could have made a decent trilogy with a good editor and some proof reading. A good example of why quality is better than quantity.

The story itself is great. That being said you need a better editor. Names were constantly being confused. Everyone was near death or dying and then saved. And how was Kyle kidnapped by the trolls in one chapter but left to die in the battle later on. It doesn't make sense. I would have gladly given you 5 stars if the flow of the book was more creative.

I wanted to scream every time the phrase "fought like men possessed" was said. Names of characters were constantly being mixed up. There is much to be said for a good editor and proof reader. Both of which this author did not have. Originality in story line is also something author did not have. Characters all followed same story line each chapter, each time. They all are awaiting death at the end of each chapter to only be miraculously saved in the next. Also, the endless amounts of soldiers in pandesia and trolls was ridiculous. Lastly, I agree with earlier posts. What a stupid ending!! Why care about the wall of flames when trolls can just use passage way underneath it they created in beginning????

Great read

This is really a great series. I do have a major complaint though. The proofreading is HORRIBLE. There are numerous grammatical and spelling mistakes throughout the book that really do need to be addressed; and not just the first book, but each of the subsequent 5 books as well. Doesn't speak well of the publisher. This said, the series is one of the best I have ever read. I absolutely LOVED THEM.

Women are heroes in this series if they just have faith. You've got to have faith! Young boys are given the opportunity to be heroes too! Don't let the world look down on you because you are young.

The plot is interesting and full of twists, but the writer uses the same phrases over and over again. I wish that it was written more creatively with diverse phrases. It's frustrating watching such a different novel being ruined by such terrible writing

Oh, wow is me – this great story has come to an end. All 6 books in this series were as fantastic as the first with a great conclusion though with the poor editing hard to get through. I often times had to figure out which character was being talked about. However, the editing of this series left a lot to be desired - thus the low rating. I think the proper editing should be done and the whole series released again.
