I have other books written by Mr Pierce which I enjoyed reading. Unfortunately, it appears that he has decided to follow the path of other writers by adding foul language in his books. It does nothing to inhance the book, but rather makes it just another trashy book. I am so disappointed. Did not finish the story. I'm glad it was free. I will not be purchasing any more books by this author.

I’m only a few chapters into this book, however I’m finding it a bit difficult to read. Not only are there numerous type-os (mainly words are not spaced when they should be) but I also feel as though there were too many commas used, and no quotation marks are used whatsoever, causing it to be difficult to follow at times. Will update when (if) I finish the book.

I thought I had it all figured out but it turned out to be a surprise.

Loved it except how the cover for the 2nd book in this series is spelled Neihgbors when it should be neighbors. Also other spelling and grammar errors were present that aren't usually in blake pierce's books.

I enjoyed this mystery including the relational challenges between the sisters. One thing I disagree with is having Chloe find the scrapings under the victim's fingernails. It seems this is standard for the ME to do in a murder investigation. Still enjoyed it.

Unrealistic, numerous typos, and overall just uneventful. Also saw the "twists" a mile away.
