Lois June Wickstrom has been writing children's stories for over 30 years. Her titles include Nessie and the Living Stone, The Reluctant Spy, Ladybugs for Loretta, The Amanda Mini-Mysteries, and Oliver, A Story About Adoption, which won the 1979 Read America!

Lois has made an art of teaching science. She stars in her own program: Imagenie Science and Magic. Her videos are available on both YouTube and MindTV.
The Imagenie Science and Magic program uses hands-on activities with low-cost materials to help children perceive the world and the study of science in a way that lets them feel empowered. In each program, children play with carefully selected manipulatives to design their own experiments. Imagenie also guides them to new discoveries through questions and provocative demonstrations.
