My life's Passages is a book of sonnets on the autobiographical stories, journey, memories and reflections of the author who was born in China, grew up in Taiwan and educated in the United States as a scientist who loves arts and poetry and devotes her life to humanitarian work in China.

About the Author

Nine years after Jane Hu was born in Lanzhou, China, her family moved to Taiwan. She came to the United States to study in 1960. She completed her undergraduate degree magna cum laude at New York University and earned her Ph.D. at Columbia University's college of Physicians and Surgeons. She served as a Scientific Review Administrator at the National Institutes of health until 1997 when she took an early retirement to establish the China Foundation, Inc. to work with the World Bank to build Health Centers for basic health services in the most disadvantaged areas in China. She is working with UNAIDS, UNICEF, WHO and the Ministry of Health of China in an international effort to prevent epidemic spread of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis and tuberculosis in China
