This book is nothing but awesome! It was so vividly detailed. It was extremely emotional too. I was crying at the end where all the tension was.

When Sarah discovers that the only way that she will be able to survive was to get a bone marrow transplant, she also discovers that she also needs to find her biologacal mother. One night she gets an envelope that contains a letter and a check for 100 thousand dollars and desides that she wants to find her mother and get her to help. There are a few problems that keep her from getting the bone marrow from her mother.

This book shows the importance of family and how the action(s)of one can effect many.

It was a completely touching book...then again, all books by Lurlene McDaniel are. The plot was completely interesting, and I found myself connecting with Sarah and everything she went through as if I, too, were part of the story. Like all her books, I found myself crying at numerous situations. The only thing I find fault with in this book is the ending. I would have enjoyed if Lurlene had continued Sarah's story. Oh well, there's always room for a sequel, right?

This book, was one of the most touching books I have EVER read. Before I read this book, I read another one of Lurlene McDaniels books, and it was so sad, but I liked it. So when I went to the library, I found Mother, Help Me Live, and I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book 100% to all readers.

A young girl that has a perfect life! She is a cheerleader and she has friends. At a very young age she was told she had cancer well she recovered, but a few years down the line she was rushed to the hospital, and after a few test was told that she needed a bone marrow transplant. She decided to have her sister do it until her mother and father tell her she is adopted and no one in her family can save her! Will she be able to find a doner? Or better yet her birth mother?? Read this amazing book to find out!

Even though I read this book in fifth grade (now I'm going into seventh) I still can look back on this book and remember it. It's a truly touching story about finding out who you really are and who you really can be.

This book was great! But the ending wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be.

It is really tough to have leukemia at a young age, but Lurlene McDaniel has all the facts you need. Sarah was fifteen years old lived a difficult life. She was adopted and needed a marrow transplant to live, but there wasn't any one to give it to her because she knew no one with the same blood type. This book inspired: I read it from cover to cover. I think everyone should read this book. You will be amazed at Sarah's story.

I'm inspired by Lurlene's books. My grandfather died of cancer when I was 9. It's great to hear other peoples outlook on life and what is really important.I think people take so much for granted and don't appreciate things. It nice to read a good book about true stories that people can relate to in real life. I just wish I could help the people that aren't so fortunate. Great job Ms. McDaniels. I'm really impressed.
