Absolutely loved this book. I can’t wait to read the rest in this series and more from this author. Minus & Cricket’s story was about first love, lost love, family and forgiveness. Read this in 1 sitting.

OK, I have to be honest, the main reason I started Minus was simply because of baby elephants. I’d see on Facebook posts featuring baby elephants and mentioning Minus. For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out what a baby elephant had to do with a MC romance. So cracked open the pages, and I’m so glad I did. Minus was not quite what I was expecting. Minus returns to Portland to find that Cutter wants Minus to take over as president of the Burning Saints MC and clean the club up with the help of Cricket, his old sweetheart. But there are obstacles and another gang that won’t make that very easy. There are points in this book that will have you on the edge of your seat wondering how something will work out or what will happen next. Do I recommend Minus? Absolutely. Will you love it? I certainly hope so. Will I give you a hint what the baby elephant has to do with anything? Nope, you will have to read it for yourself.

Sooooo, everyone knows that I love MC books. I've read my far share of them but since I'm a greedy girl I always want more. In all this time, reading MC books, I've never had one write by a male author and that made me wonder... Will it be better? Equal? Not so good? Well, despite the butterflies on my belly, and tons of questions, there were only one way to find out and that's reading. So here I am. Having Piper Davenport as his wife he needs to set up his game. She's one of my favorite authors for this genre so the spark is high. Jack Davenport is the author in question. His writing is intense, raw, hot Minus is his latest release and tells the stories of Minus and Cricket. This book is the first one from the Burning Saints series. Minus was called to get back to his club after 6 years away. He's having mixed feelings about this because the same guy that sent him away now calls him back. Cricket is a strong woman that knows what she wants and doesn't back out from a challenge. After having her heart broken 6 years ago, her uncle calls her back to the club she didn't wanted to return. To many memories that still hurt. When she's face to face with the man that broken her heart... I'm impressed and so happy for reading this book. The plot is amazing, engaging, fast paced and well written. The interation between the characters is raw, intense and bumpy sometimes. These two are so stubborn sometimes that I wanted to slap them. This book presented us with betrayal, madness, crime as well as love, loyalty, friendship and desire. The hot scenes are there and very detailed. Oh boy!! It was amazing the way this book captured my heart from the first page and I couldn't put it down. Jack you rock. This book just reinforced my love for MC books. Please tell me that book 2 is almost here... I can't wait for more. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Received an ARC at no cost to author..Wow, what a beginning to a new series. It was an explosive second chance story. Minus was exiled to leave the club, and he left the woman he loved Cricket behind without a word. Cricket was heartbroken so she also left that life behind. Both Minus and Cricket have been summoned and the feeling are stronger than ever, but there are misunderstandings that need to be cleared up, hurt feelings, and drama my friends, but really how can a book on Mc's not have any and be good? It won't be so yes we needed the drama..Grab a copy my friends. Enjoy!

This book... it is awesome! I am a huge fan of Piper Davenports Dogs of Fire series and could not wait for Crickets story. This book does not disappoint! Cricket and Minus were young loves separated by circumstances out of their control. Flash forward and watch the sparks fly! Cricket is feisty and independent. Her brother Hatch is from the Dogs of Fire MC and she knows how to deal with an alpha males. Minus is all MC Alpha but with layers and depth once he sets his sights on Cricket again he plans on getting her back. Add in HAWT love scenes and MC intrigue and you have your self a page turner! Jack does a great job created a new world that has ties to the Dogs of Fire series. I can’t wait to read the next book!

This book is connected to, but not part of, the Dogs of Fire series by Piper Davenport. It is not necessary to read this series to understand and appreciate Minus (but really, the Dogs of Fire are so amazing, why would you not?!?) Cricket and Minus were together, but then they weren't. And now, Cricket's uncle want her and Minus to work together, to accomplish a goal. Hurt feelings, miscommunication, and half truths could keep that from happening. Cricket and Minus have to find their way to working together, putting those old hurts behind them, to keep the bad guys from taking away something important to both of them. This story is full of love, family, action, and adventure. I enjoyed the glimpses that we caught of a few of the Dogs of Fire characters, and loved "meeting" the new characters from the Burning Saints MC. This book is a great start to a new MC, but fits right in with the characters we are already so fond of. If you loved the Dogs of Fire, by Piper Davenport, then you will definitely love Minus and Cricket!
