One more game. That's all that stands between NHL star Asher Westmore and a major career milestone. But then his brother bashes him against the hockey boards, sidelining him for months. Over Christmas holidays, no less. If staying off the ice doesn't drive him crazy, staying with his family will. The only bright spot amidst the mistletoe and twinkle lights: His best friend, Emma, is a physical therapist. And working out with her improves his body and his spirit.

One last time. Emma Callaway was in trouble the minute she and Asher added benefits to their friendship. How is she supposed to resist a funny, caring guy who makes her toes curl? Her heart was safe while he lived in a different state. Now that he's back home recuperating, though, it's only a matter of time before she blurts out her feelings. Emma's only hope is that with a little holiday magic, she'll get the best Christmas gift of all.

I really love this series! Book three is all about Asher Westmore and his best friend Emma. They've known each other for 10 years but Emma is starting to feel more for Asher than just their agreement of being friends with benefits. When Asher gets hurt and the two of them start spending more time with each other than the occasional night here or there when Asher is in town, the two of them start to see their relationship in a whole new light. The only problem is do they see it the same way? Asher is the typical guy, not seeing what he has until it is threatened to be taken away from him. Emma is the girl who doesn't know what to do, follow her heart or what everyone else seems to see but her. I really enjoyed their story and only wished there would have been an epilogue to see what happened next. Hopefully, that means there may be more Colorado Ice stories coming in the future? I highly recommend this book and this entire series!

I am sucker for romances and books about sports so when I was grazing through Netgalley looking for future books and christmas books to come out I found "Maybe this Christmas" by Jennifer Snow. From the cover to the synopsis both items grabbed my attention right away. Who doesn't like reading about a hot hockey player? So when I first starting reading the book I have to admit that I wasn't sure that I was going to be a fan as it kind of sounded cheesy and unrealistic... However, once I got a couple chapters in I really saw the development of the characters and the storyline grow. It wasn't just a friends with benefits story but more about finding out what matters most to you in your life and who you surround yourself with. I think Jennifer did a great job of developing the characters and the storyline. I think that a little more could have been done with the supporting characters but that might just have to do with me having not read the first two books in this series. Although this wasn't my favorite holiday read of this season I do think it was well written and very easy to read and follow. If you are looking for a book to read during your christmas break or during these cold snaps that our country is seeming to have this book is a great fit!

Maybe This Christmas, the latest Colorado Ice novel by Jennifer Snow, takes Asher and Emma from friends to more. We’ve seen them be “friends” in the previous books, but this one finally reveals what’s been going on with the besties for all these years. It takes Asher a while to realize that he doesn’t know best when it comes to Emma and this stubbornness almost costs him everything. Their relationship is not quite classic friends to lovers, but strong fans of the trope won’t be disappointed. It was fun to catch up with all the Westmore siblings, especially at the holidays. The only thing missing was Owen. While Snow might be out of Westmore siblings, the Colorado Avalanche and the town of Glenwood Falls do not have a shortage of those in need of good HEAs. I have my fingers crossed this is not the end of the series. I also hope that Snow revisits Beverly and Delaney, there is more there than a neighborly feud. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

They were Best friends first and then become friends with benefits. Now Emma wanted more but was Asher ready for more or would the thought send him running. It seemed everyone had a plan for what they wanted from Emma but no one asked her, does she even know? After an injury left Asher benched he starts to wonder what is next out side of hockey, especially when everyone around him seem to have it all figured out. He knows one thing it better not take long to be back on the ice because he is going back no matter the cost and no one will stop him. Then he would figure out what was next as he went. Can they figure out what they want out of life or will the cost be to much? I have been following this series from the beginning and this book did not disappoint at all. I am not sure if there are more books to come in this series but I hope so its been completely enjoyable so far. This book has to be one of my favorites, I really loved Emma and Asher friendship and how everything wasn't perfect and I enjoyed Emma and her strong personality. I loved this small town of Glenwood Falls and I love how there was follow up to the other characters in the other book and you get to find out whats going on in there lives. I will say this book does have strong language and adult scenes so it may not be suitable for all readers. Otherwise grab this book its with it and a super fun read.

Another fun visit to the land of hockey with the Westmore's! With the latest book in the series, we get Asher's story. He lives life in the fast lane, always giving hockey his all and always trying to keep up with his big brother Ben's accomplishments. He doesn't want to think of the future after hockey is over, he just wants to keep his head down and bust through every game. Emma is at a point where she wants more ... but she hasn't spoken up about it ... yet! This series is always a great read ... I liked them as a cute couple, but I didn't connect with them quite as much as previous books because they sort of kept themselves closed off even from each other in what they were thinking and feeling. Hoping there are more books coming in this series! Asher Westmore lives and breathes hockey. He's on the verge of hitting a major career milestone with his New Jersey Devils team, and he's not going to let the aching knee that he's been ignoring for a year now get in his way. When his big brother and opponent brings a hard hit during the next to last game prior, it takes him out of the game and to the hospital ... with months of recovery on the table. His best friend (with benefits!) Emma Callaway just so happens to live in his hometown and be a physical therapist, so he's looking forward to having her get him back on his skates quicker than the doctors are advising. Emma is on the cusp of changing up her life a bit herself, and she's happy to have some time with Ash to try to figure out where they are going in life ... she knows she's loved him for years and wants a future ... but she doesn't know if it's still just friendship and sex for him.

Emma Callaway has had a serious thing for her friend Asher for some years now, and for a while she was certain he didn't return the attraction, then he made a move to take things in a different direction, a direction that lead to a friends with benefits relationship. But somewhere along the way Emma's feelings started to get involved, and she has tried to keep them at bay, but no matter how hard she tries to bury them, they seem to keep finding a way out. With Asher home for the holidays, Emma decides this is the perfect time for them to have a talk about their future, she just hopes he feels the same way too! Asher Westmore is at a loss right now, everything in his life revolves around hockey, but after suffering an injury, he's not able to do what he loves... and it's killing him. He is stuck in his home town, around his overbearing family, while he recuperates and he can't wait to get healed up and back to Jersey. Good thing he has the perfect little distraction until then to help him heal and keep him busy... his best friend with benefits Emma. But he's just found out that Emma may not be sticking around much longer, she has a great opportunity in front of her, and another man vying for her attention, and it is really unsettling for Asher. She has always been his rock, and he isn't so ready to let her slip away... which means it might just be time to stake his claim! Maybe This Christmas is a sweet little read that is sure to put readers in the holiday spirit and leave their hearts nice and toasty! As soon as I cracked the cover on this one I was pulled right back into the lives of my favorite characters from the Colorado Ice series and once again treated to a heartwarming read that left my heart happy. Asher and Emma were quite the pair, their touching story had plenty of moments that made me smile, made me swoon, and made my heart rejoice, it was such a great read! Highly recommend this one, it's romantic and sexy and sure to satisfy! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

Maybe This Christmas is book three in the Colorado Ice Series by Jennifer Snow. It’s still really hot outside so what’s better than a little Christmas in September to cool things off. Or should I say heat things up since the relationship between Asher Westmore and Emma Callaway is anything but cool. These two together generate enough heat to warm the coldest of winter nights. Asher, the youngest of the four Westmore siblings, has followed in his older brother’s footsteps and plays professional hockey. Where his brother Ben plays for Denver, Ash plays for New Jersey. Asher has two games left to hit a major milestone, his one thousandth game. Asher has been nursing a knee injury and trying to keep it hidden for quite some time now. He just wants to make it to his milestone game, then he promises himself he’ll get the treatment needed. He was so close. His team is playing against his brother Ben’s team and an especially hard hit by his own brother changed everything. His knee was further injured and his secret was exposed. After emergency surgery he is sent home to Glenwood Falls, Colorado to recuperate. Good thing he knows a really good physical therapist very well. Emma was a professional snow boarder, an Olympic Gold Medalist. But a severe accident ended her career. Now she is a physical therapist and living in Glenwood Falls. She and Asher have been best friends for years. It didn’t take long for their friendship to become a friends with benefits friendship. The chemistry between them never dimmed each and every time they were together. They understood each other’s drive to focus on their careers. Emma, though, for the last year, has realized that her feelings toward Ash have changed. She has fallen in love with him. She knows she needs to tell him, to see if there is any chance he could ever feel more towards her. He is home for several weeks while they deal with his injury so it’s the perfect time for them to spend time together to see where things go. Ash can sense that Emma’s feelings are changing. He knows he has feelings for her. But he wants to concentrate on hockey until he is forced to quit playing. Can he manage a serious relationship and his career? Or would Emma wait for him? “Funny how he could know someone so long, love them even, and then like lightning a realization could hit.” Asher is convinced that Emma would be happier going back to her snow boarding career. And Emma’s sister pressures her to stay completely away from her previous career and to concentrate on her new physical therapy career. I felt bad for Emma. It seemed like everyone else knew what was best for her. She is facing some very major decisions, decisions that feel right but that the timing is all wrong. Then there are her feelings for Asher. She’s scared to death to tell him how she feels, that he doesn’t feel the same. Asher kind of made me a little angry at times. You know the old saying, he wanted his cake and to eat it too. I kind of felt like that. He did have strong feelings for Emma. But he didn’t want any distractions in his career. He was unwilling to make her a priority at that point in his life. But there is nothing like watching a man realize that he could easily lose the one thing that he took for granted, the thing that was more important to him than he could have imagined. “She was the one person in the world he always knew he could count on and the only one he wanted to be with.”

A wish, a risk and a kiss light up the season this holiday. Ms. Snow mixes business with pleasure in this friends with benefits romance. What happens when a hockey star is forced to spend the holiday with his endearingly, overbearing family? He discovers the girl he left behind is starting to look like the woman he can't live without. The people we love most are sometimes the ones we appreciate the least. Maybe This Christmas is a reminder of the precious moments and the special people that grace our lives and live within our hearts.
