I’m going out of my mind. Perhaps he lost my number? Perhaps he put the card in his jeans and his mum washed them and it got soaked? Perhaps saying he’d phone was a way of getting rid of me? Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. It’s time to consult the stars.

This book is a pretty good book. It is part of a series called mates, dates,... in this book there are three main characters named Izzie, Nesta, and Lucy. All three of these girls live in North London. this book is basically about his girl named Izzie. Izzie goes to the mall one day and sees this really cute boy named Mark. well, eventually Izzie gets her phone number to Mark. All troughout the book Izzie is trying to get Mark to go out with her. finally it happens, Mark and Izzie go out. Nesta is looking for a guy, and Lucy is 'temporarally' going out with Tony, Nesta's older brother. In the end all three of the girls declare that they will always stay friends, dump their boyfriends and always be in charge of their own relationships instead of the boys being incharge. I would reccomend this book to teenage girls who like twisty-turny kind of books.

Summary- Izzie vowed that she would never like or fall in love with anyone, until one day, she found Mark, not knowing he would just literally almost take over her life. He said he would call and he didn¿t and Izzie got still waits and refuses to go anywhere with anyone. She now completely ignores her friends and just as they are about to ditch her she runs back to them for their advice. Does she continue to let him play games?I thought this book would be the type of book that was fruity and had no point to them, but I found that I really liked this series. Finding out which person plays what part is kind of confusing at first, but you will find out who they are. This book is part of a series they can be read without reading the books in the series before them. These books sort of remind me of the television show ¿Zoey 101.¿ You might also enjoy this book if you like romance or love novels and this book is for girls.

This book was so good, but not as good as the first one. Poor Issie, she is going through a hard time with her mother, school, boys, friends, and other weird stuff that teens worry about. Lucky she has great friends, Lucy and Nesta. Her mother is getting frustrated with her because she is on this new vegetarian/organic diet and her mother will not see of it. Also, she met this totally gorgeous guy at a shopping center and she gave him her number. He will not call, but every time they bump into each other, he blames it on something different every time. While that¿s going on, Issie has been totally blowing off her friends, just to wait by the phone. What¿s really cool about the series is that it all has London, England slang in it. And by the end of the book Issie turns things around a bit.

This book, along with the others in it's series, are the best thing that ever happened to me. If you are like me, and you cant stand reading, then this series is for you!!! This book was reccomended to me by a friend, a friend that obviously knew some things about me that even i didnt know. she asked me some questions about things that i liked, do i like to here about teenagers and thir problems?, do i like big books or do i get distractied with bigger books?, etc. 101 After she thought about it we decided to chooses this particular series. i read the first book, Mates, Dates, and Cosmic Kisses and fell in love with the series. i picked up this next book but to be honest i just wasnt immpressed so i put it down. after this whole summer i thought about it and that book was just to good i cant just drop it. so i picked it up and wow it was even better then the first one. i can't wait to read the rest of the series!!!!! So if you think that you dont like to red, then think again!!! Considder my story, maybey yours will be simmiler.

Izzie Foster is having boy trouble. She has just met her dream boy who's drop-dead gorgeous, but he can't seem to call her when he says he will. What's up with that? Izzie's freaking out and obsessing over it. Her mates Nesta and Lucy are worried about Izzie because she hasn't been herself since she met Mark. To see what happens after that, I advise you read this book! I really enjoyed reading this book because it had great advice as well as flirting tips! I think that every girl between the ages of 12 and 16 should read this book!

Chick Lit 101. British, just like the Rennison books. Light and fluffy.

This book is about not letting boys mess with your emotions. Or let him miss you things like your friends. Izzie meets Mark and she thinks she's in love. But when he says he will call all she does is hover over the phone. She winds up missing a lot of things including her friends. Meanwhile the only way to see him is to casually bump into him. But she soon realizes what is happening and starts to do something. One connection I have is a Text-to-world connection. Sometimes girls can obsess over boys just like Izzie. They would probably change for them or ditch their friends just like Izzie. It could be a bit different because this is real world and that is a book.
