Dean of Business at Stephen F. Austin State University, and Carol
Lehman, Professor Emerita of Management and Business Communication
at Mississippi State University, are the authors of two successful
business communication textbooks that have been published
in multiple editions and are in broad adoption, as well as another
book, Building High Performance Teams, a team development manual
used widely in the academic market. They have each built a career
on business communication instruction and have also consulted on
various communication topics with clients in business, industry, government,
and education. Their recent academic publications include
articles in Business Communication Quarterly, Current Issues in Advertising,
Journal of Educational and Psychological Measurement, and Frieberger
Beitrage, an international business communication publication.
