The back cover says, "Mammals are our closest relatives in the animal kingdom." In fact, we are mammals in the animal kingdom. In spite of that mistake, this is a nice illustrated book with close relatives, food, young, habitat, and classification all mentioned.

This series of books is really wonderful. The illustrations are very realistic and the descriptive language is at a level that most grade-schoolers can comprehend and read by themselves without being over simplified.

If you like animals or know someone who does this is an excellent book. Although its little its full of accurant information about a variety of exotic animals.
