About the Author

Amy Pixton, a mother of triplets, created Indestructibles after bits of traditional board books found their way into her babies' mouths.  Amy lives in Kansas City with her husband and their three children.

Kaaren Pixton has been making art with children for many years. Kaaren’s studio is at her home in West Linn, Oregon, where she lives with her husband, one dog, five chickens, goldfish in a pond, and countless grandchildren romping in the gardens.

I got this book for a gift, so don't know first hand , but looks like it will be great for wee ones. And they will chew and try and tear pages, and I don't think this could happen to this book , and the pictures are great.

These books are amazing. I love being able to give my baby her very own book (actually more like a magazine which is even better for her, she loves to crinkle them up and chew on them) so that she doesn't get upset when she can't have mine. I also like that there are no words so I can make up a new story to tell her as often as I like or I can just tell her the names of the animals and plants. My baby is seven months old and she loves them and so does my two year old nephew. Only wish I had found these sooner!
