The Magic School Bus Inside the Earth by Joanna Cole is an Easy Reader. This book in the series takes Ms. Frizzle and her students on an exploration of what our earth is made of. The students learn about what makes up the earth's crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core while seeing everything first hand.I remember reading several Magic School Bus books in elementary school. I always wondered why we couldn't go on field trips like Ms. Frizzle's class. As an extension I would have students brin in rocks and we would try to figure out what type they are.

I liked it a little bit because it was about the earth, which I don't know alot about. Some of it was weird, when the bus could see and it changed into different things. The kids should have been shaking up and down when they were using the jackhammers.

This book was a very good book that would teach children alot about the earth and the different layers that make up the earth.

In this adventure on the magic school bus Ms. Frizzle takes her students on a trip inside the earth. The students learn all about the minerals we find in the earth and how the earth's surface can affect people depending on where they live. The students stop at each level in the earth and what that part of the earth is. Another good book for a science lesson and learning about the earth and the earth's minerals.
