But Josie has never been one to wallow in sadness, and when she takes a chance on reconnecting with her siblings, a sinfully handsome bright light from her past shows up and offers to help her find a way out of the darkness.

Now she’s back in his life, and as a prospect for the Dark Knights motorcycle club, Jed promises to keep an eye on the sassy, sexy single mother who has never stopped lighting his fantasies on fire.

Jed and Josie’s combustible connection is stronger than ever. Having Josie and her son in his life brings out all of Jed’s protective instincts—and visions of a future he never imagined having. But when a shocking revelation knocks the insatiable lovers to their knees, it forces them to make choices that could change their lives forever.

I have read and enjoyed all the previous books in this series. Having said that, Mad About Moon can definitely be read as a stand alone although honestly if you have the time I would read them all. I think you will find this a highly addictive series to read, I know I did. This was an emotional story that captivated me from the first to the last chapter. This is Jed Moon and Josie Beckley’s story and as I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster story, this was extremely well written and an absolute joy to read. A second chance could give both Jed and Josie a chance for the happiness that they both deserve. Jed Moon is a total alpha male who ticked many of the boxes for me and Josie is perfect for him. I loved her feisty spirit and her unbridled passion for life, despite all the trauma and hardships the single mum has endured in her life. The passion and love between Jed and Josie is intense and I loved the relationship that Jed develops with Hail, Josie’s son made for some beautiful and heart warming moments. I love this series, the characters are so well developed and Melissa Foster’s writing so descriptive that I feel as though I am apart of the Whiskey family and Peaceful Harbour. It is a story of love, hope and friendship, of family, not always related by blood and one which I highly recommend.

BEAUTIFUL is the word that sums up Mad About Moon. My heart was pulled in all directions, I fell totally and utterly in love with the characters and their back stories made me love them even more. Josie and Jed are two beautiful souls that are finally destined to be reunited. They have both had to go through so much to get where they are today and you will join them on part of their emotional journey in this book, as well as enjoy the sheer love they have for each other. You will also be treated to one lovable little boy who will also steal your heart, just as easy as he stole Jed's, their relationship is so touching. I was rooting for Josie the whole time to move forward in her life, it made my heart swell as she turns her life around. Jed is there every step of the way, the invisible bond between them was stronger than it had ever been. Their story is definitely HOT and will have you there completely in the moment! Mad About Moon has come so close in overtaking my favorite Melissa Foster romance, Tru Blue, it has the same darkness to the story, the same pull towards the characters, the same heartfelt emotions and, of course, humour. It makes you want to re-read all The Whiskeys all over again. I can't get enough of this family and community focused on hot bikers. Another remarkable accomplishment from Melissa Foster. Prepare yourself to be also teased with culinary delights! Just saying ;-)

.5 Stars Mad About Moon is the fifth title in The Whiskey's series, featuring Josie and Jed. Although this title can be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading Truly, Madly Whiskey which features Jed's sister Crystal, and Wicked Whiskey Love, featuring Josie's sister Sarah. This pair of characters are flawed, endearing and relatable. Neither had easy childhoods, growing up in abusive and neglectful homes, and both had to grow up way before their time. Josie and Jed's story is a sweet, well paced and emotional second chance romance with equal parts, heat, heart and humor. Josie and Jed share a history and when fate intervenes and they reconnect the spark between them is immediate and undeniable. If you enjoy a contemporary romance with strong themes of family, friendship and community I not only recommend Mad About Moon, but the entire Whiskey series.

Ms. Foster has a way of pulling you into any story and making it feel like you are living it. Her characters are so real. They aren't perfect and they aren't written that way. She shows their journey to redemption and not just great lives with family, friends, and romance. Jed and Josie are both on their own paths to better lives. I love how strong they are alone but even stronger together. Jed is another wonderful Foster man. He is strong but loving and once he knows what he wants he doesn't let go. I didn't connect with Josie as well but I love her determination. I love that we got to reconnect with our "friends" earlier books in this series and can't wait to see them again in Dixie's book.

I love love love love Melissa Foster romances and they are made all the sweeter when a child is involved becaue really; these big, burly men are mush when it comes to two things - love and children. Moon and Jojo have a mysterious history that not only comes to light fairly quickly, but also gives - what I think - is an amazing twist. It was so fun being able to catch up with past characters (like usual) and to have Josie rejoin her brother and sister. Not only her blood siblings, but to have a whole new life of friends and family. I have yet to find a Melissa romance that I have not loved completely and this was no different. It is panty melting, heart filling, romance. It can be read as a stand alone book and is well worth your time!

Thumbs-Up!! I am a hugh fan of the Whiskeys and this story went right to the top of my favorites list. It has taken a while for Jed to get his life straightened out and on the right track. Now he has found the woman who stole his heart in the past and he’s ready to step up to show her life can be great again after all. This story tugged on my heartstrings. You could just feel how much Jed wanted to make Josie and Hail feel wanted and loved and show her just what family really is. Everything about this story was hopeful, loving and uplifting

There aren’t enough words for how I feel about Moon! The Whiskeys are quickly becoming the family I want to be a part of! And Moon... wow! From the way he treats Hail and Josie to how he protects his sister and takes care of his mom! We really need to duplicate him! Can’t wait for my next Whiskey fix!

Mad About Moon is an addicting read. The main characters have a strong connection right from the start. Josie has been through hell and back. For having grown up in an abusive home and losing her husband at a young age, Josie is a very strong and independent woman. She's caring and hard working. She's a fantastic mother. Jed has had his fair share of trouble. He didn't always have the best home life, but he had good intentions. Jed's is caring, loyal, and getting a fresh start. He makes a great future Dark Knight. The story of how Jed and Josie first met is explained very well towards the start of the book. It helps give an understanding to how and why their connection is so strong. I kept rooting for Josie and Jed. This book made it so easy to fall in love with these characters. The minor characters help make this story what it is. Between the Dark Knights, the Whiskeys, and Josie's siblings, it's impossible not to like this story. Not to mention the way Jed interacts with Josie's son. Can you say heart melting?? I received this story as an Advance Reader's Copy. I volunteered to leave a review. All opinions are my own.

Melissa Foster has once again created a book with the perfect blend of sexy biker guys, conflict, achievements, romance, friendship, and family. Mad About Moon will absolutely make you fall head over heels over Jed, but more than that, Foster has given readers an unputdownable book that touches on every emotion while providing that fantasy romance mixed with real-life and relevant issues. I highly recommend this one but to truly understand and relate to Jed and Josie's story, I suggest starting at the beginning of the series or at least starting with Wicked Whiskey Love about Bones and Sarah!

I love the Whiskey Series! This book is so emotional, I laughed, I cried! Such a great story about second chances in love and life. Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors. Her stories just hook you on the first page and she never disappoints!

For the first time my tears shed Though I am emotional type of person but I admit I seldom cried while reading a book. Mad About Moon is my very first book from Ms. Melissa Foster when I shed my tears. I did not sob but I did cry. This book is so emotional and at the same time hot like waffles when it first pops out from the toaster. This story is beyond beautiful. The power to survive not only for yourself but for another person that rely on everything that a mother can do. Be prepared to fall in-love with Jed. Josie and a heartbreaking story of Hail. This kid is beyond bubbly and a future mechanic, you will be amazed. It is a beautiful story of second chance of love, friendships and close family ties.

Mad About Moon is another page turner. I could not put this book down. I have, though, had a love affair with the Whiskey family since I first met them. Each book seems to get better and better. Moon is not truly a Whiskey but they are all over this book. He has basically been adopted by the Whiskeys as he has made his life better. Josie is sister to a soon-to-be Whiskey. That makes this book totally Whiskey. Moon and Josie met once before. She was just shy of her 18th birthday but Moon believed she was older than that. The two of them had very intense feelings. Then, when Moon showed up to see her the next day he was warned off her by Brian, the man who would become Josie's husband. To have a second chance at what younger people may not have thought was love is amazing. Melissa Foster does great second chance love in Mad About Moon. You have to pick up a copy and read all about Josie and Moon. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

As always with the Whiskeys, the latest book packs an emotional punch. There isn’t a lot of drama between Moon and Josie, which I appreciate in a romance, but their lives have not been easy and they have to face a lot from their pasts. Josie was able to escape her abusive parents and find a happy life but seeing her siblings again means that she needs to decide if she’s willing to address old wounds. Even here it is handled with depth but not melodrama – the past comes calling but it doesn’t run their lives. I appreciate that a lot as Josie comes to terms with what she thought she knew about her past. Jed has managed to come to terms with his own past and the things that he’s done, thanks to his friends, family, and the Dark Knights. And now that he’s got a chance to reconnect with Josie and make a better life for himself, he stumbles over a couple of kids that are pretty much him as a teen. Being able to help others is such a huge part of who Moon is and Foster works that in so perfectly here, finding a way for him to have a purpose he can embrace. Foster knows how to deliver depth and dimension to her characters, their lives, and how they connect with, love, & support those around them – you truly feel the family that they’ve created, regardless of blood, and it makes you want to be a part of their community. Packed with humor, heat, and complex relationships, Mad About Moon once again allows readers to fall into a story just brimming with emotion. **Review given honestly and freely after receipt of a reader copy. This opinion is completely my own and was not influenced in any way.**

I LOVE the Whiskey series, and Moon and Josie’s story just might be my favorite of them. Josie is one of those characters you can relate to. She’s guarded, but it’s completely understandable with her past. She underestimates her value, and it’s kinda refreshing. Moon is perfect for her. A bit “damaged”, he’s turned his life around and is really an inspiration to those around him. He’s the perfect fit to the Dark Knights, and the perfect man for Josie. This story drew me in from the beginning, and I loved catching up with previous characters. A fantastic must read that I would definitely recommend!

Mad About Moon is another heart-tugging, fantastic read in The Whiskeys series by Melissa Foster. Jed Moon is not a Whiskey by birth but the way they take him in makes me feel like he could have always been a Whiskey sibling. He's the actual sibling to Crystal whose story we read in Truly, Madly, Whiskey. So, I have to say that I'm so happy that we are finally getting Jed's love story.  Melissa Foster creates real-life characters in her stories that push and pull on your heartstrings. While there are some struggles in Mad About Moon, most are in the past and we are able to see the evolution of love between both Josie and Jed from the beginning. Jed is sweet, sexy, and has the biggest heart. Always worrying about others more than himself.  While Josie battles with guilt over her past, the real star of this book shines through. Hail is Josie's son and he steals the show. Jed treads carefully, but Hail runs full force into his life. The way that Melissa Foster takes us on this touching journey is just one of the reasons I return to her works time and time again. Mad About Moon is a second-chance romance with Foster's signature happy ending.

Melissa Foster has my heart Mad About Moon with this amazingly flawed, yet perfect couple. Jed and Josie have lived their lives in a full circle and found their way back to one another. Their flaws, mistakes, and past have prepared them for the strong re-connection. Jed's past would lead most to believe that he's incapable of the sweet and giving heart that he uses to give back to so many others. It's expected that Josie will continue to keep people at arm's length after her own past. The pull that Moon has on Josie helps realign her with all the good that life has to offer. The support characters give an incredible base to this story, offering fun moments that make you laugh and others will pour tears down your cheeks. I've always had a hard time believing that second chances are a good thing -- but Melissa definitely has me re-evaluating my thoughts and opinions on this. Her writing brings a lot of real-life situations to life (while still fulfilling our hidden craving for delicious characters!).I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Josie (JoJo) is on the fence about reuniting with her sister, due to her growing guilt for abandoning her at the hospital after her accident and believing that she had a perfect life. With the help of a new friend, she finds the strength to reconnect with her family... Jed (Moon) is prospective Dark Knight and will do anything to make sure Jojo and her son Hail are safe and get back on their feet. His efforts are beyond his duty as a Dark Knight because Jojo has been the only person he could be himself with. Imagine a closed door being opened and you see the man you haven't forgotten in years behind it? I know my heart would stop and then pound like crazy. This story of Jojo and Moon will have you holding your breath until it wraps up, with family bonding, surprises, joy, and love. Another great love story from Melissa Foster, I am never disappointed. Disclosure: At my request, I have received an advance copy of this book for review purposes. I am not being financially compensated for this post, all opinions expressed are my own honest opinion.

Ooh! Just when I thought I had found my favorite book in the Whiskeys series, Melissa Foster one-ups herself with the fifth and newest novel. Mad About Moon is a story about finding love not just once but twice and having another opportunity to see if the spark two people had years ago still exists. This series has gotten better and better with each novel Foster has released, and book five came THIS close to getting a five-plus-starred rating, but that was due more to personal preference--more on that later in my review. This book had all the feels, making for a thoroughly great read about how one person can find a first love and a last love and both being true. This was also a story about family, and how those bonds can still exist even if they're frayed from years apart. Melissa Foster is a master when it comes to combining family and romance, and she's done it once again with Josie and Jed's--aka Jojo and Moon's--story. Dare I say that The Whiskeys has become my second favorite series from her? This did come achingly close to scoring a higher rating, but I held back because of a revelation later in the story that I wasn't a fan of. Again, this was a personal preference issue and had nothing to do with the writing itself. So, five stars for Mad About Moon. ♥

Filled with heart and sexy goodness! Melissa Foster never fails to bring a magical couple to life in front of our eyes when we open a new book from her, and this one was no exception. The Whiskey family has been pretty spectacular so far, and the guy that they consider one of the family is just as kind-hearted and awesome. Really engrossing characters, back story and connection. Loved Moon, JoJo and little Hail! Josie Beckley never thought she'd find herself living in a homeless shelter with her young son, but after the unexpected death of her husband, things just simply fell apart. Brian was her rock. He saved her when she had no one and the love he showered on her and their son was a shining light for her. Now she's trying to pick up the pieces of life again and get back on her feet. Her estranged siblings have been trying to reconnect with her, and she thinks she's finally at a place in her head where she can let that happen. Jed Moon is shocked to see the woman he knew for one glorious night as JoJo years ago show up at the Christmas festivities with the Whiskey family. He has never met another woman whom he connected with like he did with her. She saw through all of the filler and saw the true guy in his heart. He steps up to make sure she and her son get settled, and ends up falling for her hook, line and sinker. There's a lot to overcome in getting her to open up her heart, but he's willing to wait!

I'm MAD ABOUT MOON!!! There is just something about a man that will put everything on hold to help a woman and her child without expecting anything in return. Jed Moon knew Josie years ago but lost touch with her after their brief time together. Fast forward several years and Josie is now living in a homeless shelter with her young son after the death of her husband. Josie and each of her siblings were abused as children, Josie being the youngest was spared the worst of it because the older ones got it the most but after they each left her parents turned on her and that's when she ran away. Josie is starting to reconnect with her siblings which we have met in earlier books but she is hesitant because it's been so many years since she has seen them. This hurt my heart as well as warmed it. It's hard to describe the feelings a person has after reconnecting with siblings they haven't seen in years but believe me, while you're hesitant you are hopeful. This story is about love and forgiveness and second chances and perfect endings. Mad About Moon will have you holding out hope that the universe will get things right and give back what was lost. This story had a twist to it that I had in the back of my mind before it was even hinted at, I was she going to go there? and she did! LOL As with other books by Melissa Foster this is easy to recommend especially if you enjoy the second-chance-at-love trope. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone but I always recommend starting from the beginning because once you meet one of the Whiskeys you'll want to meet them all. Happy Reading!!! **I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
