Apple McCoy has given up on love.
Preston Lawson has never given up on anything.

For years Preston Lawson has loved the beautiful and unattainable Apple McCoy from afar. Now he's determined to make her his and he's not going to let her fear of falling get in his way... until she bolts the morning after he finally gets her into bed.

Apple refuses to let any man get too close and Preston is no exception. She won't allow herself to be seduced by the sexy bartender's flirtatious smiles and bedroom eyes, which is exactly why she skips town for a much-needed vacation... only to run straight into Preston.

It's not until they're in paradise that she finally lets him in, eagerly succumbing to his persistent charms. But what happens when they return to Jessamine and reality sets in?

Will Apple shut him out once more, or will Preston be able to show her just how right they are together?

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I am a HUGE fan of this series and I have read all the stories in this series. Largely they stand alone. Though you will understand things better if you read the previous books. This book stars Apple, Lemon and Cherry McCoy so you will want to read their books at the very least and maybe even Caleb's and Brody's too if you are new to the series. While the Lawson boys are mentioned, they don't really appear, as this is about their cousin Preston who has always had a crush on Apple. This is his story on how he gets Apple to have anything to do with him and date and fall in love with him. Apple, who everyone thinks is slutty, isn't, its all an act. As is her tough girl act. She is really a big marshmellow inside and Preston has always known that. But she also has been hurt and has done some bad things and while I knew she did, I have always had a soft spot for her. I did read Caleb's book and I always thought what he and Iris did to Lemon was really crappy. So I pretty much sided with her on one of the biggest issues in this book and her history with the Lawson's. I LOVE that Apple takes a lot of convincing to give Caleb a shot. In fact its a friends to lovers story and Preston is fanatastic. He wants Apple and their is absolutely nothing he won't do to get her. These two when they are together, they are so cute, romantic and sweet that I fell hard for them as a couple.

This was my first Lawson Brothers book and it has left me with the deep aching need to read each brothers story because if they are even half as entertaining as this one was it would still be time well spent. Loved this Fun, Flirty, Sweet We grew up around each other but you are only now seeing the real me love story. Preston is a very single minded, strong but sweet man with one woman on his mind day and night. Apple is so adorable and compassionate you just want hug all her hurts away. They are an amazing paring and I love every twist in turn in their journey together. Highly Lovable and Entertaining Read.

Finally, Apple and Preston's story!!!! Apple McCoy has long been a favorite of mine. She seems so tough but she really isn't. How can she be when she does so much for others that no one ever knows about. And Preston... Well, he might not wear a red cape and have x-ray vision, but what is more heroic than being a firefighter/EMT? These two were made for each other, it's just going to take some convincing on Preston's behalf to get Apple on board! Can he do it? Will Apple give herself permission to have the man of her dreams? You'll have to read the book to see what happens between these two!!

I wanted Tristan and Lemon's story from the moment we met them both in Love So Hot. I knew there had to be something behind all their bickering and couldn't wait to get the entire story. Love So Tempting was completely worth the wait! Let me just say I wanted Tristan and Lemon as a couple from the first time I saw them together. I just knew there was more to the story and I adored watching them figure out how to have a relationship. I think Lemon is my favorite of the McCoy sisters. She is such an independent person, even though she still lives in her family home. I love that she has her own nail salon business and makes no excuses for being a beauty queen. Hello, we are in the South, and we love our beauty queens. Lemon is the most laid back person on the face of the planet except when it comes to Tristan Lawson. I think part of the reason I adored Tristan from the beginning is the fact that the big bad Marine became a librarian. I have so much love for intelligent men and add one who loves books and loves to read books to children, and I'm sold. Tristan was totally that charming man with everyone except Lemon. They love to antagonize one another and yet I could totally feel the underlying chemistry between them. I'm pretty sure I might have cheered when they initially hooked up and absolutely loved finding out about their past as each remembered the letters they shared while Tristan was deployed. I even loved that Lemon got pregnant and forced Tristan to step up and admit his feelings for Lemon and for Lemon to admit her feelings for Tristan. I honestly hated that someone had told them lies in the past to keep them apart, and really can't say I'm over my anger at the character yet. I loved that Tristan and Lemon got a second chance to get their happily ever after right. I had all the good feels for them as a couple and really felt like they were a stronger couple in the end. Love So Tempting is a beautiful second chance romance filled with passion, laughter, and even a few tears (both happy and sad).

I'm loving The Lawson Brothers series by Marquita Valentine! Lemon McCoy and Tristan Lawson have always had a love hate relationship, but something changed when Tristan was overseas serving in the Marine Corps. Coming home with his sight set on Lemon he is led to believe that it was a joke on him because Lemon was seeing someone else. Many years later with feelings for one another that haven't changed they have one night of passion that leads them down a road that they weren't quite ready for, but it's happening all the same. Tristan plans to prove to Lemon that they are meant to be together even with all of their history and baggage. I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

Lemon and Tristan have been fighting forever. What started as letters while Tristan was stationed in Afghanistan and turned into love letters back and forth quickly turned ugly when Tristan came home and Lemon's sister turned things around. It took a few years but lucky for them they found their way. I do think this is my favorite Lawson Brother book so far. **Received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**

Love So Tempting reads like an old time love story. Presented with ever obstacle a relationship can face Tristan and Lemon have to decide if they can make it work. Marquita Valentine has written a well crafted love story as a testament to two people who never expected to fall for each other. With everything against them including rivalries, town gossip, family and the ravages of war it's easy to see that the stars were not in their favor. Yet Tristan and Lemon bucked everything including tradition to make a life together. Doing something as simple as writing a letter to offer encouragement and hear a friendly voice changed the course of their lives. I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review. Love So Tempting is a story of passion, despair, love and the resilience of the human spirit. With this series, I am finding it hard to decide on a favorite because each is better than the one before.

No one would ever expect Lemon McCoy and Tristan Lawson to fall for each other. To the outside world their relationship has always appeared as one of bickering and distrust. However, while Tristan was deployed, Lemon's letters were what got him through each day. Unfortunately, upon his return, her meddling sister and misunderstandings keep them from pursuing a relationship. The attraction and chemistry though never diminishes. Will they ever be able to get past all the obstacles and find the happiness they both deserve?? This is a very well written story and a perfect addition to the Lawson Brothers series. Tristan and Lemon are great together and their story is one of hope, persistence, and determination. I really enjoyed it and I think you will too, I recommend it.
