Overview

"If you ever wondered what a Jack Reacher or Jason Bourne type might've been up to in high school, Cade Dixon provides the answer"

Lost One Standing is a breezy Young Adult thriller with a unique heist story that will appeal to readers of all ages.

When a ruthless criminal mastermind with dark intentions takes a prestigious New England prep school hostage, Cade Dixon faces a choice: As a working class townie worth nothing in their perverse bidding war, he can save himself or try to stop them. It would have been an easy choice too - save his own skin - except for one thing.

It would mean leaving behind Kira.

Soon, with the fate of the student body left to them, Kira and Cade must sacrifice their own safety and attempt to outwit a daunting and deadly group of criminals.

Cade was never dying to be a hero.

But he just might.

About the Author

Hector has been known to stave off kidnappings, rescue schoolmates in danger and daydream about Kira Harr-

Er, wait a minute...that would be Cade Dixon. But then again, Hector probably wishes he were Cade.

Wait another minute...since this is Hector typing these words, I can confirm, yes, Cade would be an absolute blast to be. Who wouldn't want to get the chance to save the lives of your friends, mother and the girl you love. And have the skills to do it.

While I may never get the chance to do all the crazy things Cade does, at least I get to hear the amazing George Newbern read it to me on the audiobook.

And hopefully we’ll be hearing him again when Book Two in the Cade series arrives.

Lost One Standing is the second project with Waterfall Films after the coming of age film, Greener Mountains.
