About the Author

After childhood plans to become the captain of a starship didn’t pan out, Suzanne Brockmann took her fascination with military history, her respect for the men and women who serve, her reverence for diversity, and her love of storytelling, and explored brave new worlds as a New York Times bestselling romance author. Over the past twenty-five years she has written fifty-seven novels, including her award-winning Troubleshooters series about Navy SEAL heroes and the women—and sometimes men—who win their hearts. In addition to writing books, Suzanne Brockmann produces feature-length movies: the award-winning romantic comedy The Perfect Wedding, which she co-wrote with her husband, Ed Gaffney, and their son, Jason; the thriller Russian Doll; and the soon-to-be-released rom-com Analysis Paralysis. She is currently in pre-production for Out of Body, a rom-com with paranormal elements. She has also co-written two YA novels with her daughter Melanie, and is the publisher and editor of an m/m line of category romances called Suzanne Brockmann Presents. In 2018, Suz was given the Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award from the Romance Writers of America. Her latest novels are SEAL Camp (Tall, Dark & Dangerous #12) and Out of Body, both available in print and e-book from Suzanne Brockmann Books, and in audio from Blackstone Audio.
Ed Gaffney, writing as Will McCabe, began work as a court-appointed criminal appeals attorney over 20 years ago, and since then, has argued and won cases in the highest state and federal courts in Massachusetts. He’s also the critically acclaimed writer of four legal thrillers originally published by Bantam Dell, one of which, Enemy Combatant, was nominated by the Mystery Writers of America for the EDGAR Award for Best Paperback Original. With his wife, New York Times bestselling author Suzanne Brockmann, Ed has written and produced an off-Broadway play and three independent films. He lives in Massachusetts. His most recent novel is white man #woke, available in print and e-book from Suzanne Brockmann Books.
