This is a heart fell story of a mother and daughter expressing their concerns and frustrations with each other. It discussed things a child (girl) should and shouldn't do, and how to express love to one another. It could be fun in the classroom, but it's really directed at young girls.
A great read for pre-school and kindergarden children, this is more of a parent read aloud. Lizzy is tired of her mother saying don't! Don't do this and don't do that, that's all Lizzy ever hears. So one day Lizzy decides to tell her mother, "Don't say don't so much!". In the end mother and daughter collaborate and try to say do as much as they both can. It's good for parents and children who need to strengthen their communication.
