Jill has never been good at taking risks, but she spends one hot night with a sexy stranger, knowing she'll never see him again. Then Lucas shows up the next morning as her new roommate. He was supposed to be a one-night stand, but now he'll be living in the empty room in her shared apartment for the next six months.

Jill needs stability and a long-term relationship, and she knows Lucas can never give her those things. He's looking for a life free of commitments or obligations. She knows he's wrong for her. She shouldn't want him for more than one night.

But she lives with him. He's around all the time--with his sexy smile and his hard body and the soft heart he pretends not to have. Not wanting him isn't really an option.

Short but enjoyed the read. Good characters, over 100 pages.

Forever is today… I liked the concept of this book. To have a one-night stand thinking you would never see this person again, and then find out you just slept with your new roommate – it is just delicious! The sex scenes were steamy but the story was much more than just sex, which is refreshing. The building feelings between Jill and Lucas were interesting. Both of them were damaged but in different ways. Jill’s unstable childhood left her wanting stability and Lucas’s BAM event shook his foundation and trust. I never quite understood what was going on between Michelle and Steve but that is probably for another book that I will hopefully get a chance to read.

124 p, HEA, alternating pov, some hot scenes, lots of angst and character development for one main character.

Loved It Jill had a date she made with a guy online, she it up to meet at a bar. While waiting another guy started talking to her, her date never showed up. She went back to the hotel with the cute guy she was talking to and they had fun, she is not a one night stand for of girl. When she got home she know they were waiting for their temporary roommate who was a friend of her roommate boyfriend. When Lucas walked in it was a shock because he was the guy from the night before. They have to see where it goes

I really enjoyed this sexy 'one night stand becomes more' romance! Jill and Lucas share a steamy night together when they meet at a bar, but the next morning Lucas turns up on her doorstep as a friend of one of her other roommates, and the new guy moving in! Awkward! They keep the secret of their previous meeting to themselves and pretend not to know each other. At first Jill steers clear of Lucas but realizes that it's silly to do that, and eventually they build an actual friendship. Lucas clearly has had something traumatic happen to him in the past and prefers to live in the now, and not commit to anything whether it's a job or a relationship. We don't find out exactly what happened until late in the story, but it affects his daily life and his decisions. He and Jill find it hard to resist their chemistry and share more sexy scenes but he's upfront that it can't be more than sex and Jill comes to a point where she tells him it can't continue if there is no chance of a future for them. Lucas has to do some soul searching and face his fears in order for he and Jill to get their happy ending. It's an entertaining and enjoyable romance!

Last year I read Falling For Her Brother’s Best Friend by Noelle Adams and loved it. So I was very excited when I got to know that Barclay Publicity was organising Release Week Celebration Event for Noelle Adams another book. I instantly signed up for it and here I am with the review for the book. The story of Living With Her One-Night Stand flows smoothly with fair number of steamy scenes sprinkled throughout the novel. The book is not much heavy on emotions till it reaches last 20%. This last 20% is really emotional and certain parts actually made me cry. Though the last 20% sealed the deal for me and was the best part of the novel but I liked the fact that the first 80% of the book was not very heavy on emotions. I think this less amount of emotions went well with the plot. The main characters were pretty good, I liked both of them. Jill is someone who is looking for a forever man and Lucas on the other hand is not into commitments. I know this theme is not new, but the way it was told made this book a really good read plus the reason why Lucas was no longer into commitments was something I had never read in any other romance novel. In simple words, in my opinion the reason was unique. There is one small thing I wanted to say, I loved this book, but I felt that I would have loved this book a little bit more if it was written in first person narrative rather than third person narrative.

Jill wants a forever man. When her online date doesn’t show up she decides to try a fun filled night with the handsome stranger she met instead. Now she’s face to face with Lucas the man she thought she’d never see again. Lucas had a “bam” two years ago and walked away from his life. He now lives day to day, riding the tide, and only stopping for brief times in temporary places. His life goals do not mesh with Jill’s. He does not want a forever but he does want a now. This couple! OMG! I loved and despaired over them. They were so perfect together and yet they both knew they couldn’t be more. Their chemistry may have sparked their beginning but getting to know each other set fire to their soul deep need. Lucas was caught in the past, unable to let go and move forward, unable to even share a bit of himself with Jill and that absolutely broke my heart. He was a good guy but he no longer saw himself in that light. Even while Jill struggled between yielding to Lucas and keeping her distance, I saw her as a strong heroine. She wanted the happy ever after and despite knowing that Lucas couldn’t give that to her, she was unable to let him into her heart. This book had me laughing and crying and my heart being pulled in so many directions. I love when a story pulls me in so much that I ignore everything around me and just fall into it without a second thought. Living With My One Night Stand definitely did that. It was fast paced, well written, pretty steamy and had about a mid level of angst. I loved every moment, every word, every step these characters took no matter how painful or sweet. Bring on the next, please!

I loved this book and this is a great start to Noelle Adam's new series The Loft. This series is about roommates that are sharing a loft in Blacksburg and it is a spin off of Tea for Two. We met Jill in the book Seducing Her Brother's Best Friend (Tea for Two Book 3), she is relatively new to town and is trying to find somewhere she can call it home. All along the book she has this feeling of wanting to belong to somewhere or someone, she is tired of not belonging... She meets Lucas in a bar and they begin to talk and see that they have nothing in common... He is living the moment... After a BAM occurred in his life he is tired of following the herd and wants something different for his life and does not want any strings. Despite having some differences, they have a strong chemistry and end up having a one night stand. Little did they know that they are bound to become roommates since Lucas is the one who is renting the vacated room in the loft for 6 months. Lucas and Jill are a emotional ride that it is worth reading, they are so intense and so good together. As always Noelle Adams give us this book which is really a gift. This is a wonderful book!

I just love all of Noelle Adams books. I enjoyed reading this book. It grabbed my attention from the very beginning and made it impossible for me to put the book down. Jill and Lucas met at a bar and hit it off and It was only suppose to be a one night stand but no one was more surprised then Jill and Lucas to come face to face the next day and find out they were going to roommates. Jill is looking for her forever guy and Lucas just wants to live his life one day at a time. They could not be more wrong for each other but as they get to know each other better, feelings start to develop. Jill and Lucas are perfect for each other and I am glad that at the end they worked their stuff out and finally got their HEA. A must read! I just loved how some of the Tea for Two series characters made an appearance on this book and I really hope that we get to read more of Michelle and Steve next. ***I Received this ARC by NetGalley as an exchange for an honest review.

Talk about A-w-k-w-a-r-d!!!!! The good girl does a naughty thing and winds up with a reminder. A reminder of everything she wants but can't have. Or shouldn't have...? Living with Her One-Night Stand is a sexy tease. It's a tease of what's to come and makes you beg for more. I am excited for more of The Loft.

Adams never shies away from the emotional. Her characters are human. Flawed learning to be fearless. Living with Her One - Night Stand is about need. What started as a chance encounter, becomes a life changing moment for two souls searching. Lucas is learning to live again after an upset in his life. Jill needs her fantasies to help her deal with a sometimes unkind reality. Each is looking for solace and end up finding salvation. Hope is what gives the capacity for love and that's what makes us human. Jill and Lucas will have readers swimming in emotions and loving every lap.
