Overview

The New York Times #1 best-selling series. The movie adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is now a major motion picture from visionary director Tim Burton, starring Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Samuel L. Jackson, and Judi Dench.

Like its predecessors, Library of Souls blends thrilling fantasy with never-before-published vintage photography to create a one-of-a-kind reading experience.

A boy with extraordinary powers. An army of deadly monsters. An epic battle for the future of peculiardom.

The adventure that began with Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and continued in Hollow City comes to a thrilling conclusion with Library of Souls. As the story opens, sixteen-year-old Jacob discovers a powerful new ability, and soon he’s diving through history to rescue his peculiar companions from a heavily guarded fortress. Accompanying Jacob on his journey are Emma Bloom, a girl with fire at her fingertips, and Addison MacHenry, a dog with a nose for sniffing out lost children.

They’ll travel from modern-day London to the labyrinthine alleys of Devil’s Acre, the most wretched slum in all of Victorian England. It’s a place where the fate of peculiar children everywhere will be decided once and for all.

I enjoyed the first two books. I love the characters and the constant action/chain of events. I do feel like certain things became very redundant but nothing worth dislike. The hardest thing about ending a good series is finding a new one too keep you as hooked.

I loved the first book, I loved this book, and I can't wait to read the third book. New, fresh, fun, fantastical, violent, poignant, there are just so many ways to describe this story. My advice, read them all!

The beginning was a little slow for me, but I loved the ending - it was great.

I loved this series, and this book was by far my favorite. It kept me on edge throughout its entirety and I could not put it down! A bit darker than the previous two, but a wonderful ending to the series. I wish it wasn't over!

So sad if this is the last in the series, great story and loved the vintage photos. This book seemed a little darker then the other two but very good and worth the read.

I've always enjoyed books that take me on a journey. My first series was Harry Potter when I was 10/11. And this series makes me feel the same way when I read those books years ago

The third book had way more action and anxiety provoking moments than the first two. All the characters had such amazing development. I was on the edge of my seat, wondering how the characters could get out of these perilous situations. The photographs outdid themselves yet again in this book. It gave so much more meaning to the plot. This was the best ending of a series that I have ever read. It saddens me that I am finished with the series.

At first I didn't think I'd be too interested when I started on the first book, but here I am on the third wishing the story continued. Fantastic writer and fantastic story, and the pictures just add that little bit more that makes this one of my favorite series.
