"Rowling's wizardry as a writer is on fulsome display" ( USA Today) in this #1 New York Times bestseller from the international bestselling author Robert Galbraith.

When Billy, a troubled young man, comes to private eye Cormoran Strike's office to ask for his help investigating a crime he thinks he witnessed as a child, Strike is left deeply unsettled. While Billy is obviously mentally distressed, and cannot remember many concrete details, there is something sincere about him and his story. But before Strike can question him further, Billy bolts from his office in a panic.

Trying to get to the bottom of Billy's story, Strike and Robin Ellacott-once his assistant, now a partner in the agency-set off on a twisting trail that leads them through the backstreets of London, into a secretive inner sanctum within Parliament, and to a beautiful but sinister manor house deep in the countryside.

And during this labyrinthine investigation, Strike's own life is far from straightforward: his newfound fame as a private eye means he can no longer operate behind the scenes as he once did. Plus, his relationship with his former assistant is more fraught than it ever has been-Robin is now invaluable to Strike in the business, but their personal relationship is much, much trickier than that.

The most epic Robert Galbraith novel yet, Lethal White is both a gripping mystery and a page-turning next instalment in the ongoing story of Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott.

The books in this series just keep getting better and better. This one was the best so far! It was longer and more complex than the past 3, but it was fascinating and I couldn’t put it down! I hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next in the series!!

I’ve been waiting for this book. It was worth it. I can wait to see it turned into a mini series. I kept putting it down deliberately and doing other things, just so it would take longer to finish. Now I’m left waiting for the next book, again!

Another great work by Robert Galbraith! I simply just love the way strike and robin characters are fleshed out even more. Hopefully we won’t have to wait another three years for #5.

Too many twists and turns....difficult to follow at times

That was excruciating. Took me weeks to read. Became a challenge to finish, not a pleasure. And THEN the ending was implausible. What was the point of Billy? I got so tired of the chain smoking and sore leg and then there were all the rabbit holes. May try again, I like Cormoran and Robin, but must be at least half as long!

Slow moving plot, stupid dialogue

I couldn't put this down- except for putting it down to make notes. I keep getting bested by Galbraith, so I really tried to work it out before the end this time. I had a few theories and one was partly correct! I was proud of myself because the plot line was so clever. Really, how does an author suck you in with such beautiful language and detail? Asking because I can never manage it myself. I know it took time to churn out such a masterpiece, but try not to take too long next time, I don't think I could wait 2 years for the next Strike novel. Signed, Eagerly Awaiting the New Robin

Nuanced intrigue gradually sucks in the reader to such a complex series of intertwined cases. Quite extraordinary fortitude and drive keep our heroes plunging onward to solve a very surprising liaison of murderers. My favorite Strike novel to date.

I was thrilled when I saw a new Strike novel was released. I absolutely love this series! I was even reading slower at the end because I didn't want the book to be over. Great story and development of the characters. I can't wait for the next one!!!!

I don’t normally read 600 page books. This took a while. I loved every minute.

Great addition to the series, especially with the further character and relationship developments. Keeps you on your toes but certainly not overly challenging to follow.

This is the 4th in the Cormoran Strike series. I’ve enjoyed all of them. Only complaint I have is that it's too wordy like John Grisham novels. Otherwise it's a great story line that is very well written to keep you wondering until the very end. The author does a fantastic job of weaving several stories into one. I kept wondering what the title meant and then eventually it all came together. I also really enjoy the interaction between Cormoran and Robin. This series is a well written mystery with wonderful characters that you can picture in your mind. Well done! Looking forward to reading the next one when it comes out.
