The paradise theme runs throughout: Those who seek Paradise when it's right in front of their eyes, are in danger of losing the one they already have. Equivalently, the message that is important throujghout is "Bloom where you are!" That last is a book title authored by my sister Carolyn Huffman decades ago. More recently, the same message appeared in a book by Ann Voskamp, One Thousand Gifts. But this book is not a religious lelcture even though it has important messages. It is rather a sentimental novel about good people who don't always have the best of luck. How they deal with the bad times.

About the Author
The author is a retired theoretical physicist, 73 years old, married and now living in Southern California. Although not his first book (others were on technical subjects) this is his first novel. The process of creating it involved a lot of more enjoyable discussion and interaction with the wife than did the technical ones.
