CHAPTER 1
Leif was a young Maple Tree, little more than a sapling.
That was around the time when the changes started happening.
The other trees around him thought a lot of him- this was true.
They loved his shiny, pointy leaves and how, in the morning, they collected dew.
Leif took such pride in his leaves,
he never thought they would go ...
until one day when he looked down and saw them falling to the ground.
He wondered what was going on.
He wondered what to do.
He wondered if the other trees. would still see him as beautiful.
