The classes these are intended for are science, industrial technology education and integrated with other core subjects including the arts.
Each learning activity can be adapted to all grade levels but was primarily developed for grades 4 thru 9.

About the Author

Mr. Dodd has a B.S. in Education and a Masters in Education degree from Central Michigan University. He also studied at the University of Alabama, Oklahoma State University and Grand Valley State University. He taught Industrial Education in both high school and middle school, Gifted/Talented Science in grades 6 thru 8, middle school math, algebra, geometry and coached several sports. He was organized and ran a Young Astronauts program and Odyssey of the Mind for 18 years. In his 36 years of teaching he has developed elementary science and technology activities in grades 1 thru 6 along with his regular teaching duties in the middle and high school. He has received two national teaching awards for his work in elementary and middle level science and technology. He has developed hand-on, real world activities that meet State and National Standards and benchmarks.
