Calder did a magnificent job of capturing the buzz of Silicon Valley industry while spinning a tale of fantastic twists and turns. You'll never guess who did it and why. You don't have to live in Silicon Valley to love this fast-paced mystery, anyone who loves a good whodunit will love Knockout Mouse. Incredible! I couldn't put it down until I turned the last page.

This was a good read, with captivating characters and a believable plot. In fact, I'm waiting for the next book in the series to be available. Calder has taken on a good blend of science and mystery.

It grabbed my interest in the beginning but got muddled and boring mid-way through. Too many characters with similar names and far too much overly detailed scientific jargon and abbreviations. Also had several typos and editing errors such as missing or transposed words within a sentence.

I enjoyed this book more than I had expected! It was a good "who dunnit" with science woven in.... my two favorite themes. My interest was held throughout the book. Enjoyable read, but if you REALLY detest science, you may not like it as much as I did. Nonetheless, a conscientious reader will grasp the scientific information due to the author's ability to make it understandable for the average reader. Recommended!

The perfectly written mystery for the Nerds among us. Characters brilliant, but vulnerable. Complex, yet real in their motives and feelings. Fascinating information on how science has become a god in the hands of those determined to re- create Life in their own image. I look forward to reading more by this Author.

I enjoyed this book, felt it was descriptive not only with nature but in its scientific information. It was fast passed and kept my interest. As a member of the older generation I am in aw of the scientific experiments that are out there.
