The Courtney name mistake bothered me. Didn’t anyone care enough to catch the mistake before it went to printing?!

I am a huge fan of Ms Clark and read almost all of her former books. This is definitely one of the best she has ever written and is definitely deserving of five stars.
When Gina Kane a freelance journalist get an email from a former Boston University student she is made away of some "terrible experiences" that have happened to and are still taking place at REL, a high profile new station. Move over Harvey Weinstein, Roger Ailes and Matt Lauer as we are about to learn about a new "trusted anchorman" who is abusing women.
Gina starts an investigation when she does not hear from the person who sent the original email. She is like a detective and not only discovers who CRyan is but that she had recently died. Supposedly she lost her life in a Jet Ski accident. When she digs further she has a hunch that it was not an accident but a murder. Now how is she going to prove this?
Michael Carter who was approached and informed of sexual misconduct that is taking place in the company comes up with an intricate plan which he discusses with the CEO about paying off these victims. Of course, Carter is also looking out for himself and will become a rich man if they agree to his plan.
When another victim is discovered and the company's IPO draws near Carter is finding it more and more difficult to stop Gina's investigation. The story is a wonderful read and won fans will not be able to put down.
We see how determined Gina is to uncover these secrets and lies and make the people causing them held accountable. I truly loved it.
