Years in the making, Sarah J. Maas's #1 New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series draws to an epic, unforgettable conclusion. Aelin Galathynius's journey from slave to king's assassin to the queen of a once-great kingdom reaches its heart-rending finale as war erupts across her world. . .

Aelin has risked everything to save her people-but at a tremendous cost. Locked within an iron coffin by the Queen of the Fae, Aelin must draw upon her fiery will as she endures months of torture. Aware that yielding to Maeve will doom those she loves keeps her from breaking, though her resolve begins to unravel with each passing day…

With Aelin captured, Aedion and Lysandra remain the last line of defense to protect Terrasen from utter destruction. Yet they soon realize that the many allies they've gathered to battle Erawan's hordes might not be enough to save them. Scattered across the continent and racing against time, Chaol, Manon, and Dorian are forced to forge their own paths to meet their fates. Hanging in the balance is any hope of salvation-and a better world.

And across the sea, his companions unwavering beside him, Rowan hunts to find his captured wife and queen-before she is lost to him forever.

As the threads of fate weave together at last, all must fight, if they are to have a chance at a future. Some bonds will grow even deeper, while others will be severed forever in the explosive final chapter of the Throne of Glass series.

Words cannot describe how good this book is. I went on a emotional journey the whole way through. I laughed, I cried, and was completely in awe about how this story ended. I did not, could not put this book down. Every question you may have had while following this series was answered and yes their were deaths of characters you came to love. It’s unbelievable the way SJM connects us with her books and this being the last in the series was the most enjoyable and gratifying. Buckle up because with this book you will goon a emotional ride but it’s totally worth it.

To say I am sorry to have this series end is an understatement. Sarah has ended this story beautifully. Not rushed, with heartache, with love, and with the surprises that I expect and anticipate from Aelin. I wish I could continue reading how everyone's lives continue from the end but I know it is the end. But at least in dreams we can imagine how their stories continue. Thank you Sarah J Maas for an excellent story and I cant wait to read what you have next in store.

Kingdom of Ash, the final installment of the Throne of Glass series, is more than I could have hoped for or imagined. Sarah J. Maas is a literary genius in how she wove together such an intricate and complex world that stole my heart and soul. Thank you, Maas, for gifting this world with the world your mind so brilliantly thought up.

Fantastic ending to a great series! It took me forever to read this. Not because it wasn’t well done but because I wasn’t ready for it to end.

I love Sarah’s writing style and the cast of characters she has created. The only thing I could have easily done without (in a few of the novels) was the blatant sex scenes, for a young adult novel it seemed a bit much. Reminds me of every TV show now made, everything has to have sex thrown in, the story could have easily held up on its own without it. But again, Sarah wrote another page turner and still wrote the characters and war scenes phenomenally well.

So much more fulfilling than the conclusion of GOT! Great storytelling and characters. The Thirteen. That was rough. I'm sad that this was the last book. I want more!

Start to finish, this series was riveting. I have laughed and cried along with the characters, who became less like characters and more like friends to me as the series progressed. I’ve eagerly awaited releases, prolonged the inevitable ending, and invested hours of my life into these books. They’ll forever be in my heart and on my mind. Thank you, Sarah J. Maas. Thank you for your beautiful words, your shameless deaths, your message of bravery. It’s been an emotional roller coaster since book one, and was just as emotional the second time around.
