If three dinosaurs roar when you open your door, what do you say?

"Boo!" of course! In this charmingly spooky story by Susan Hood, little trick-or-treaters learn just what to say in every Halloween situation. From rattling bones to ghostly footsteps, Susan captures all the best scares of the season—and teaches just the right way to dispel fears in favor of fun. Jed Henry's lustrous watercolors add the perfect crisp chill to this fall-weather story.

For if a skeleton groans as she rattles her bones, what do you say?

This is my favorite of the three Halloween children's books I received from Harper Collins for review, and I think it was actually meant for a younger audience than the other two. Being the whacky, fun-loving person that I am, I highly enjoyed this book. Susan Hood presents us with various situations to say "Boo!" and other Halloween-related words in a fun and highly entertaining way that parents and their young children will enjoy reading together. Because we come to expect the word "Boo," I had even more fun when a different word came up, and I'm sure that young children will find it as entertaining as I did. If you only read one out of all three of these books, let it be this one. I love it, and my friend recommends it too. It is so much fun!
