I absolutely love this coobook! It was very awesome and well put together. The cover made me curious, I have never seen pretzels on a cake so I just had to see what this book was about. There are a little bit of recipes for everyone in here. There are some that I think are very sugary but I don’t think I’d personally have a problem eating them. If you aren’t a big sweet person then I don’t think you’d find much you’d like in this cookbook. It’s a very good dessert cookbook. The photographs are really pretty, showcasing and high end quality. Joy Wilson is an awesome and very talented chef and her talents show through this cookbook. This book has already found its place with my cookbooks. I plan to use this cookbook a lot especially during the holidays. I can’t say enough good things about this cookbook. I think any cook/chef will love this cookbook especially the sweet lovers out there. I would say that you do need this in your life. It makes a great addition to any cookbook collection! I give it 5+ stars! I received this book for free through Blogging For Books Program in exchange for my honest review.
Disclaimer: I love Joy. I love Joy's recipes. I have fooled everyone around me into thinking that I am a genius by baking what she so kindly writes down. This book is another tool for me to look like a baking goddess. Think of it as Wonder Woman's bracelets and tiara, but in book form. Here is the deal. I have already made half a dozen of these treats. They are fantastic. I also love the gorgeous pictures and the way that Joy writes helpful you can do this kind of advice at the beginning of every recipe. There is also the most helpful breakdown of cakes, cake decorating, and pie crusts that I have ever seen in one place. Buy 4 of these books. Give 3 away. The world will be that much sweeter.
Love, love, love this cookbook. Every recipe sounds wonderful, I already tried two and they came out perfect. Joy really is the best.
This cook book is not set up for an e-reader. Its so difficult to get the fonts right. The titles are huge lettering and the recipe itself is much smaller. Dont waste your money. And anyone that bakes prb already has most of these recipes. I just threw away my money.
This book is a lovely addition to my collection. Many recipes I want to try including the ones for ice-cream that look interesting and not very typical. Nearly every recipe is accompanied by a photo of either the dish or ingredients which is wonderful. The recipes are rather detailed and the instructions are easy to follow. I am eager to get started.
