About the Author
Wanderlust filled this street urchin whose teenage poetry was discovered and encouraged by an old time hustler in Newark N.J. Since that day he has been a writer consumed with his craft. A talented high school grad, he was offered a Speech and lee Theater grant to UMBC but travel called. He went on to appear in the Toronto production of the Broadway musical, 'The Me Nobody Knows,' the French production of the musical, 'Double V,' and in multiple productions of the legendary musical ,'HAIR,' around the world. During this time there was one constant; he never stopped writing, even as he was entreated in London by a noted producer, John Worth, to form the R&B group, The Majestics. The long hours spent traveling only provided more opportunity to write. Three years later, it was time to go home and put the work to use. Notwithstanding the trials and tribulations that are inherent in the business, Aloysius was able to bring one of his works to the stage. His musical, 'The Gramophone Rag,' was performed at Laney College in Oakland, later to move to The On Broadway Theater in San Francisco.
