There was laughter there was tears and a lot of dirty and unecessary language. Its a book for mature readers. I only would recommend it to those who enjoy a good laugh and are used to this particular type of language. But I have to admit, the tone and voice in this story did not let me put it down.

it really captured what young love is. Of course it showed the types of social status among teenagers these days, you have the nerds, geeks, jocks, sluts, but everything a boy has on his mind in a relationship. It was a very sweet and charming book i recommend this book to anyone who is in a relationship... or has relationship problems.

it was a really good book and it tackled all the peer pressure out there and sex, hickeys, and French-kissing, etc. but it lacked an innocence, a deeper meaning, and the real over-all theme of being that age.

I thought this book was really great...it was really funny and Jerry Spinelli totally knew what it was like to be a teenager!!!! Sometimes, the subjects were kinda gross, and the language was pretty bad. I would recommend this book for 12 years and up.

I really, really loved this book. I was pretty sad when I finished Space Station Seventh Grade, and was happy to find that there was a sequel. In this book, Jason gets his first girlfriend. It tells about their good and bad times as a couple, and about Jason's 9th and final year in junior high. I would recommend this book to anyone.

This is one of the best books I have ever read! I think it is the best description of a teenager's life. It shows what kind of pressure we have from everyone including our parents, fellow students, teachers, and ourselves. I recommend this book for ages 12 or 13 up.

A sweet story of first love, from the boy's perspective.

I am a big fan of Jerry Spinelli's young, bumbling, true to life characters; however, this book seemed a little crude and sometimes overtly sexual. Is it true to life? Probably, but I felt that the overly sexual nature of the content distracted me from the "Spinelli-esque" characterization I usually enjoy.
