About the Author

Lois Critchfield is Jim Critchfield's third wife. They were married 28 years. Prior to her marriage, she lived and worked in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey in the 1960s. After retiring from CIA in 1982, she joined Tetra Tech International as a researcher and newsletter writer with a focus on OPEC and Middle East markets. Lois holds BS and MA degrees in economics from the University of Florida. She lives in Williamsburg, Virginia.
