Overview

Jack Minot and Janey Pecq are best friends, nicknamed after the nursery rhyme, and are always together. One winter day, they mimic the nursery rhyme too closely when they suffer a terrible accident. Seriously injured, the two friends recover from their physical injuries, while learning life lessons along with their many friends. This story, though written "for girls", would also appeal to some boys and adults.

This high quality, digital edition has been reformatted specifically for use on the Nook and uses original text as well as images.

This book has been scanned, but not proofread. The typos and formatting makes it unreadable to me. Try Project Gutenberg instead.
