About the Author

Lindsey Fraser co-founded the successful literary agency Fraser Ross Associates, following careers in bookselling and readership development. It was in the late 90s while she was Executive Director of Scottish Book Trust that she was introduced to new Edinburgh-based author JK Rowling. She wrote the fi rst review of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone which appeared in The Scotsman. Lindsay has been a children’s book reviewer for a number of national newspapers and judged several book awards including The Smarties Prize, The Guardian’s Children’s Book Award and The Whitbread Award. She has edited three anthologies of short stories for young people.
