This book is not fiction or some fairy tale Richie rich comic book. This is a true-life depiction of a young hustler caught up in street-life situations. Picture a young impressionable fifteen-year-old kid growing up around pimps, prostitutes, hustlers and con men on the crazy midtown streets from 1979 to 1986 when 42nd street ( Deuce ) was in full effect and drama and chaos ruled the day. Some people from whom i sought advice about life were these same people. How could they teach me about something that they knew nothing about? So, i had to learn about life though trial and error. Some things that you will read about my life you will not like one bit. Some things might make you laugh. I do not know exactly how you will feel about everything in my book. But, i do know that if you get really honest with yourself, you might even relate some of the things in my life to your own.

About the Author
Telling my story truthfully was like purging all of the garbage out of my system. Now it does not burn my mind like acid. And, if they can read this and see themselves falling into the same traps that I did, then maybe they can change what they are doing and try something different. So here it is my story It Was All In The Cards: The Life and Times of Midtown Mike
