Nancy Warren has always loved to read books by funny, daring women. Bonus if the books are also about funny, daring women. Her influences are: Jane Austen, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jenny Crusie, Susan Isaacs and Jennifer Weiner to name a few. Naturally, when she began writing, she chose romantic comedy featuring -- you guessed it - funny, daring women and the men who eventually win them. She believes in happy endings, the antidepressant effects of good chocolate and that if you want to enjoy the view from the top, you have to hike up the mountain. She has two amazing kids and the unconditional love of her Border Collie, Max.

Nancy's a USA today bestselling author of more than 50 novels. When she's not writing, she's hiking, skiing, traveling or sipping wine. She's appeared on the front page of the New York Times (when her book, Speed Dating launched Harlequin's NASCAR series), has been a clue in a crossword puzzle (National Post, Canada) and she's been a double finalist for the RITA award, won a Romantic Times award and often shares her love of writing in her popular workshops. In 2013 The Christmas Grandma Ran Away from Home was a Kindle Book Review Indie Award finalist.

Another Chance HEA Iris is the oldest of the Chance girls and has always been everyone's listening ear. Her last relationship ended when he went back to his ex. Geoff has just moved into the area. He is a teacher at the high school and in the mist of a divorce. They meet when he comes in to her coffee shop to get drinks & muffins for his first teacher meeting. And let the sparks fly.

It's Always About the Babies! This is #02 in the Take A Chance Series by Nancy Warren. HEA with No cliffhangers! These are about the members on the Chase family. I suggest reading them in order to get the best experience. Length: 4 hours 54 minutes Content Warning: There is mild sexplay. ♥ Story ♥ Iris in Bloom is about, you guessed it, Iris. She is a bakery master, a published author, and a shoulder to cry on for the town. Iris ❤ Geoff Iris Chance is turning 33 and her baby clock is ticking loud. Being the eldest female child among the Chance siblings, she has always been the secondary mom. The small pool of eligible partners leads her to the fertility clinic. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and she has that in spades with all the Chance clan. Iris is set on her plan, but meeting the hot new English teacher puts her mind into a spin. Geoff McLeod left L.A. after his wife ended their marriage via text. He came to Hidden Falls for a fresh start. He left his lawyer friend to handle his divorce but is still technically married on paper. His outlook on love was grimm, until he stops at the Sunflower Coffee and Tea Company. That's when he meets Her, and his whole life changes. "O Captain! My Captain!" ---Dead Poets Society Iris in Bloom will inspire lots of nail biting moments that will leave you yelling in your head, or out loud , things like wait, hurry, and listen. Those that were alive in the late 80's will feel a need to stand on something to recite the above quote. There is the most interesting, yet touching re-gift ever! There is no epilogue which leads me to think that part #3 will start close to where this one ends, hopefully . This is a great edition to the Take A Chance Series, and I can't wait for more! ♥ Author ♥ Nancy Warren can be very creative. That re-gift was one I've never heard of before. ♥ Narrator(s) ♥ Teri Schnaubelt doesn't disappoint. ♥ Audio Production ♥ Normal speed was fine. Audiobook obtained at my request and I am voluntarily leaving this unbiased review.

She runs a coffee shop and meets Geoff the new HS English teacher.. Their story is one that could happen to any two people... Love their story... Love the series...

I absolutely loved this book by Nancy Warren. Iris runs her own cafe. Geoff is the new English teacher. Geoff is in the middle of a divorce when he meets Iris. Iris has a big fear of Geoff going back to his wife, of not being ready to move on. Iris is contemplating making a major change in her life. I loved watching how their story played out. I don't want to say too much and give spoilers, but I have to say this. I loved the humor in the regifting at the end! This book is a must read!

1.5 Stars. Liked the first book in the series. This novella (139 pages ) was boring & the characters bland.

Thanks goodness for free books that hook me into a new series! I got the first one in this series as a freebie. After I read it I promptly bought books 2 and 3 in the series. Just finished Iris in Bloom - loved it! Sexy, fun, couldn't put it down. Now on to  Prescott's story.

Iris In Bloom By Nancy Warren Take A Chance Series Book 2 Iris Chance, the owner of Sunflower Coffee and Tea Company should feel complete. But as her thirty-third birthday inches up on her, so does some panic. She wants a baby, a family would be great but Hidden Falls isn't exactly brimming over with eligible bachelors. There is the new English teacher but he seems to be carrying some baggage of his own. Geoff McLeod was thankful for the mid year teaching position he found at Jefferson High. When his wife chose to leave him, he wanted to get out of LA, away from her. The small, quiet Oregon town seems a good place to be. And for a man not wanting to get divorced, after meeting the local coffee shop owner, he finds it can't happen soon enough. Welcome back to Oregon and the Chance family. In the first book Kiss a Girl in the Rain, we meet Evan, the second oldest of eleven children. Some are natural born, others were adopted. When they hit sixteen, they can ask Jack and Daphne which they are. Some choose to, others do not. This is another great addition to this series. Looking forward to more. **Sexual content
