Invisible Islands was written for the children of all ages, but especially for young readers or for use as a bed-time reading. Each chapter is a short story and can be read as time permits.
Jimmy's family has moved to a farm and his father must go away for the summer on a job related project. His cousins come to visit Jimmy and his mother which results in adventures in the woods, the lake and in their own minds. There is a tree house, pirates, dragons and visits to a historial character who live near-by.

About the Author

Michael (Mike) T. Gracey, PE is a professional engineer who is comfortable writing about technical subjects and published High Pressure Pumps in 2006. He has written over fifty technical articles and presented scientific papers from Mexico City to Toronto, Canada and from Berkeley, California to Boston, Massachusetts.
Mike’s first fiction book, The Time Shift was published in 2009 and the second one, The Time Detour was published in 2010. The next one, The Time End was published in 2011. My Life as an Elvis was published in 2012.
He has written short stories for the entertainment of his children and grand children for the last 40 years and now enters into the world of children’s books with the publication of Invisible Islands that was written for his five grand daughters. Mike believes that imagination is the best form of entertainment and that children can see what adults can no longer see: Invisible Islands.
