Learned a lot. Clearly written. Only confusion is the differences in liquid amts and I guess I’ll figure that out as I cook.

The recipes are similar to other books. The one good thing is they provide recipes for special diets

In general I’d say ok as cookbooks go but there are better ones out there. This felt like an accumulation of random recipes that someone converted from a handwritten notebook or index card box into a ‘book’ and stuck a cover and table of contents in front. Few good recipes but overall wildly inconsistent in the way information is presented. For example, most recipes in American units (cups, oz) but at least one had grams. Some recipes very clear (x amount dried herb Y) whereas others said X amount of Y. unclear whether fresh, whole, chopped, dried, ground. Same issue with cooking time and IP instructions, wildly inconsistent. I’m a pretty savvy IP user and decent cook so I understood most of what they were trying to say, but I would avoid this cookbook entirely if you’re new to an IP and not facile in the kitchen.
