I was captivated right from the very begining. This is the perfect love story. Judd starts out as the all time player but you can also tell he does have morales. Sam is beautiful, strong and caring and she loves her 2 year old daughter Karrie more than anything in the world. And talk about adorable, Karrie stole my heart the first time we meet her. Even though they fight the attraction to each other Sam and Judd are perfect together. Their chemistry is off the charts smokin HOT! When Judd first meets Karrie he falls instantly in love. This story have a little of everything. I laughed and I cried and at times I was so angry I screamed at my Nook. Lol. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

I have really grown to love contemporary romances. There's just something about them that speaks right to my heart, and Indelible was no different. Firstly, I loved that Sam was a REAL woman. She didn't have a perfect body, but she embraced it...kinda :). She's such an amazing, strong character, with her head in the right direction. She had quite a fierce determination that saw her accomplishing her dreams, even with the obvious curveball or two thrown at her. Judd was very sweet. He was carefree, and even though he was a typical college guy, he proved his worth when he stuck with Sam, even after finding out about Karrie. He was so gorgeous with her and it wasn't hard to see why Sam fell in love with him. I was a little surprised at how easily he stepped into the boyfriend role, though, especially when he and Sam both agreed that they weren't looking for a relationship. It seemed like neither of them had a problem when their relationship progressed to full blown love. But, I guess that's what happens when the right person comes along. I enjoyed Sam and Judd's story, I just wish there had been a little more to it. There was plenty of sexual tension and chemistry, but there was just something lacking. Perhaps I'm used to more drama in these types of books, but it seemed that the only thing standing in their way was the accidental return of Karrie's father, and then the final decision of whether Judd should give up on his success or continue his dream. Now that might seem like enough drama for anyone to have to handle, but I really expected more. Having said that, I did really love this book. It gave me the warm a fuzzies. I just have one question to ask...where can I find a guy like Judd?? :)

I have to admit, for this book, I didn’t even get past the author when I was deciding to sign up for the tour.  I read Bethany Lopez and I immediately signed up. She is one of my automatic sign ups.  So far I haven’t read anything that she has written that I haven’t loved. And for this one, she kept that 5 star rating going for me! I fell so in love with Sam, Judd, and Sam’s daughter.  Judd was such an amazing man (here I want to ramble on about spoilers to the book, but I caught myself in time!) And Sam was such a strong woman!

Romantic, sweet, feel-good story I really enjoyed Bethany Lopez's Friends and Lovers Trilogy, so when I found out she had written another new adult romance, I was anxious to read it.  Samantha is in her last year of college.  She is also a single mom with a beautiful little 2-year-old daughter that she is raising on her own, because the baby's father wanted nothing to do with her.  She hasn't let this make her bitter, but it has made her better, as she is now focused on getting her degree and make life better for her and her daughter.  She isn't looking for a relationship and in fact, tries to steer clear from getting involved with guys, then she meets Judd, and things quickly change.  When Judd walks into the bar that Samantha is in, with his tattoos, long hair, and killer smile, he notices Sam right away.  Judd is also in his senior year of high school, and though he rides a motorcycle and has the whole biker vibe thing going on, he is actually a baseball player, and a very good one.  Judd doesn't do relationships, he does hookups.  He has never been interested in a relationship with a girl, but with Sam doesn't fall prey to his charms, he is intrigued by her.  Despite her best attempts to stay away from Judd, Sam isn't able to, and finds herself falling for him, and he is falling for her, which is completely new to him, but when she finally tells him about Karrie, will he run, or will he stay? Indelible is such a sweet and romantic story, and there isn't a love triangle - yeah!!  Both Judd and Sam have gone through some hard things and have hurtful pasts, which have shaped their future.  Their relationship can't be a normal one, because there is a 2-year-old involved.  Judd turns out to be such an all around great guy, despite his past.  There isn't a whole lot of conflict in the story, but they do deal with some things and have to make choices that  are best for each of them, as well as Karrie, which are difficult.  There is a bit of a twist at the end, which I suspected was coming.  Judd and Sam are the kind of characters that you want to see things work out for and I liked both of them.  There are a few steamy scenes also.  Overall, I found Indelible to be a fun, enjoyable, feel good romance that left me smiling.

The characters Samantha's life may not be perfect but she's happy. She has less than a year to graduate from college but unlike other girls her age,she doesn't attend parties or date. Why?Because two years ago that's exactly what she did and one night her life dramatically changed.A one night stand led to an unexpected pregnancy. The good news was that she had her parents' support and love. The bad news? The baby's father didn't even want to be on the birth certificate. But Sam got over that, and now she plans her future along with her beautiful daughter. All this time she had her two best friends,Molly and James,to have her back. Dating for her is out of the question but then she meets Judd..She's not ready for a relationship yet and neither is he.So they start meeting each other for coffee and they go out on a couple of dates.Everything is great for them but Sam hasn't told him that she has a daughter. For the first time in a very long time she enjoys herself but she's also scared that Judd will leave her if he finds out her secret. All it took was one look at Karrie and he immediately loved her. After that he started spending more time with Sam and Karrie. He couldn't imagine his life without them.It was like the girls filled a part of him that after his mother passed away has been empty for years.Of course he has his father and it was hard for him to put the past behind. Judd couldn't have been happier but then scouts attend his games and he realizes that football might not be over for him.But that means leaving Samantha and Karrie behind in order to live his dream... Verdict Indelible is a sweet, romantic story that you will fell in love with. This story could actually be a real one and it's about finding yourself, trusting people and giving yourself a chance to start over and get your 'happily ever after.'

** 3.5 stars ** There are many, many types of good men, in reality and fiction. Some of the very best men are those who fall in love with single moms, and their children. Knowing that Indelible featured this type of man was one of the reasons I wanted to read it. Another reason is the cover. Look at the woman. She looks like she could be anyone one of us. I love that Bethany Lopez took a step away from the typical, cover-wise. Sam and Judd were such easy characters to root for. She's a good mom, good friend, and a hard working student. Judd was a talented baseball player who takes care of his dad, and barely flinched when he learned the girl he's falling for has a kid. A guy that puts love over the joys of being a hot college guy. Indelible is a fairly straightforward story about a single mom and a baseball player, both college students, who meet, have an attraction, and explore where it goes. I will point out there's a little doozy of a twist near the end, and I did see it coming, but for the most part the story follows a very linear, low drama path. And you know what? That was fine because I had already reached my drama threshold for the day, and wanted no more. Having said that, I think a lot of readers would want more angst or tension out of Indelible. I would've liked to have "experienced" more with myself. I feel like the establishment of Judd and Sam's relationship was a bit rushed. Actually, I don't know if "rushed" is the correct term, because there are a lot of valid, fast-moving relationships. I guess maybe I just needed to feel some more out of the characters. I found Indelible to be such a sweet love story. The pages flew by, due to Lopez's easy going writing style. It was a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Reviewed by Natasha Jackson for Readers' Favorite One of the things Bethany Lopez always achieves in her novels is creating real characters that are easy to love and root for and Indelible is no different. Indelible is the story of Sam, a young college student and a single parent. Unlike the typical skinny blonde college girl who gets knocked up by her boyfriend, Sam is a size 12 reformed party girl who fell pregnant as a result of a one night stand. Lonely but satisfied with her life with her two-year-old daughter Karrie, Sam decides men and relationships are things she can do without. When Sam meets Judd, her libido is attracted more than she is, easily identifying him as the player he proudly is. Her seeming indifference to the handsome baseball player only makes him try harder, in the spirit of players the world over. The love story of Sam and Judd is quite sweet and not overly dramatic. It is the story of two regular people getting to know one another and slowly falling in love. I do wish Bethany Lopez would have given actual examples of Judd’s past as a player instead of having James and Tucker allude to it. That was the only element missing that would have made me appreciate the changes Judd was making for Sam and Karrie all the more. I love that Judd doesn’t make any big pronouncements about changing his ways; he simply just starts acting like a man who cares about something other than getting laid. It made the transition seem more genuine.  Indelible is a sweet romance that is not packed with unnecessary drama. Of course there are a few steamy scenes that might make you envy Sam but it is not the basis of their relationship.

Bethany Lopez has done it again. What a hot NA romance! I love the chemistry between Judd and Sam. The story drew me in from the beginning and didn't let go. The concept is unique in that you have a single mother who isn't "model thin and drop dead gorgeous" catching the eye of a guy who meets the definition of "player" in more ways than one. The relationship developed at a realistic pace and had me rooting for them throughout the story. Indelible was a home run for me!

My thoughts… I’m so excited to share my thoughts about this book with you. *squee* I loved this one. Hard. For reals. Sam’s a single mom. She became pregnant after having a one-night stand. Said one-night stand didn’t want anything to do with her or the baby. He went as far to say that he didn’t want to be named on the birth certificate. What an asshat. You’ll find out who said asshat is within the pages of this book. To say I was shocked after finding out who he is is an understatement. Having said all that, I really liked Sam and couldn’t help but admire the type of person she is. She’s a great mother and friend. Instead of quitting college she stayed in school and made the best of her situation. Enter Judd. He’s not a “bad boy” per say. He’s more of a player. You know the type. Different girl everyday of the week. Not one for relationships. He’s more into hook-ups. He’s described as having long hair, tattoos and is an overall hottie. *swoon* I really liked him. Upon meeting Sam he finds himself attracted to her. She’s not like the girls he normally hooks-up with. She’s different and he finds himself wanting to get to know her. I thought Sam & Judd together made a great pair. The chemistry they shared was off the charts and I wanted things to work out for them so badly. The sexual scenes are comparable to mainstream romance. They aren’t overly explicit. Having said that I think they were hot. The story flowed smoothly and I didn’t find myself skimming the pages. It kept my attention from the beginning until the very end. Overall, I really loved this one. I can see myself reading it again in the future and would love to have a copy for my bookshelves. I was actually sort of sad when I reached the end because I loved it so much, but I was happy with the things worked out for Sam & Judd. Don’t miss this one. If you’re a fan of new adult romance you REALLY need to read it! For reals. :)
