"In this bittersweet, beautiful tale, the author examines the weighty topics of death and destiny to heartbreakingly believable and moving effect (...) Less a traditional romance and more like a testament to the human spirit and what it can endure, this is that rare story that expertly walks a fine line and nails every turn."

Angel has long forgotten that her brother Tom visited her one night a few months after his death and that she made him a promise. Now time is running out. If Angel doesn't acknowledge his existence soon, she will irrevocably change the course of her life and that of one of her children.

Angel is destined to meet Daniel for a reason. When and where this happens is determined by the paths they choose to take. Their Guardian Angels are racing against time in order to fulfil the destiny of the two star-crossed lovers and their future family. Angel has just one last chance to listen to Tom before the future is changed forever.

After calling off her wedding to her childhood soul-mate, Angel is catapulted into confusion about her life. No longer feeling that she is where she is meant to be and led by some unknown force, she leaves for India.

Finally on the right path and with the help of a new friend, Angel begins to let Tom back into her life, allowing him to guide her on her journey towards Daniel and a new life in Italy.

What Tom can't tell Angel, is that her and Daniel's joint path is heading for tragedy and that her most important choice is yet to come.
