Overview

Being a military Brat means moving often, but this time, David Boyer is happy about it. After a horrible year with no friends, David creates a plan to reinvent himself so he can fit in.
David's summer antics takes him on a comical path in his search for success. Will his tormenting brother, his monstrous bike, or a string of bad luck stand in his way of making friends, or will his fortune change for the better?
This story is something that any kid that has moved, all brats, and every parent can relate to. It is also an introduction to military life through the eyes of a child.

About the Author

Jim Odom is a brat. He was born and raised in a military family, and has always been proud to say he's a Navy brat. When his father retired after 22 years in the Navy, Jim along with the rest of his family moved to a farm in Missouri. A few years later, they moved to Georgia for a year and straight back to the farm. Jim still calls Missouri home, but the brat in Jim was always calling and has led him to 46 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and seven countries. His military upbringing also led him to write this book and has provided him with an instant connection to other brats scattered around the world.
