This book proved to be much more fun than expected. It was amazing who many interesting questions the book contained, whereof I must shameful admit I could only answer a very small part. Of course, there were several questions I skipped, feeling that I could survive without knowing the answer to them. I guess I felt this way mostly with questions about names, numbers, places, dates - little facts about stories one may be able to answer by searching in the respective book. However, there were a lot of questions I just had to look up - though I know I will never have any real use for that knowledge again, I felt compelled to explore the answer at that moment. What item was standing next to King's desk when he wrote xy? Useless knowledge maybe, but absolutely fascinating. Reading question after question, the hints and answers, became almost addictive. Each time I intended to spend just a couple of minutes of spare time reading this book, I found myself unable to stop, like with a box ofchocolates - just one more...oh but the next one looks so tasty as well... The highlight, of course, were the illustrated questions, showing the unique and brilliant style of Glenn Chadbourne, giving new interpretations to creatures, places etc. Overall, a very recommendable trivia collection, but beware: once you start reading, you may be unable to stop. Not to mention the evoked urge to dive into all your old King volumes again asap... (I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review)

I am so excited to be able to share this review with my readers. This book is great for King's fans and the book has a very unique story. Stephen King fans or SKEMERs were able to submit questions and have a chance to be listed in the book as contributors. They had to provide the answers and validate that the answers were right. What Cemetery Dance did after they sorted through the questions submitted was they picked the ones they wanted in the book. Then, the people who sent the questions that were picked got a free copy of the book, and they could see their name in it! This is also different because it is illustrated. The illustrations are amazing! I have been a Stephen King fan for years.  The book was well written and has been updated and revised! I recommend this book to anyone that has read books by Stephen King. I am giving this book a 5/5, and am so happy to announce that my maiden name is listed as one of the contributors!  I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own!

Obviously for fans of the renowned author, this collection asks trivia questions involving King or his works, offers hints and ultimately the answers. His works are further broken down into separate chapters re the novels, novellas and short stories. Other chapters include his books written as Richard Bachman and the Dark Tower series. Finally, his movies, non-fiction endeavors and miscellaneous musings fill up three more segments of the lighthearted entertaining book. Fans of Mr. King will fully enjoy this seemingly complete trivia homage that digs as deep anything you can find for instance asking which Red Sox player had his name misspelled in The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon?. The illustrations add eerie depth as well as posing additional trivia questions associated with them. Clearly aimed at Kingophiles like the SKEMERS (Stephen King E-MailERs), whose founder Michelle L. Revelle, provides an afterward, casual fans of the author will also enjoy this fun book. Of course adding to the pleasure, this reviewer trounced her spouse. --- Harriet Klausner
